Can anyone tell me if vanilla bean ice cream and vanilla bean gelato( both ice creams and both vanilla bean) could be used in same % and subbed ? I’m out of ice cream but have bottle of gelato. I don’t want to waste it though so it’s m wondering if % would be similar. Both are tpa

Vanilla Bean Gelato has a bit stronger flavor IMHO. Use .5 or 1% less of it than you would VBIC. They are a bit different. But it should still be nice in a recipe.

the difference btw the VBIC and VBG is the Gelato is the " Clean Version of the VBIC "
VBIC 4% is median usage while VBG median usage is 3% Also , VBG is at least a 3 week steep b4 it really can be appreciated at full bloom hope this helps .
