Due to my current BBQ chicken, (and b33r) content, any “drama” is not affecting me this holiday weekend, but I appreciate the conversation, none the less. Previous relationships not withstanding, I had reached out to Rick a while back, and inquired about review samples, as I had never used or tried his products before. I have seen some pretty high praise for them, so it piqued my interest.

Well thank you very much Rick. I have to do some research, as I’ve never used any of the Sugar Daddy sweeteners, and will need to lock down good usage rates, etc. Oh, and BTW, who DOESN’T love LESS muting ?? !!!

So the TBV version available at chefs and nomz is not the real deal?

Depends when they ordered their last batch.
If it’s over 2 - 2.5 years ago they ordered they should be ok.
Anything after that time period…it is not SD.
As for Nomz I have no idea.
I was not at the distribution end so I don’t know exactly who ordered SD or when it was purchased by each company.
TBV never gave me records of sales.
I have contacted as many sellers I could by doing google searches for SugarDaddy and advising them to make them aware what they have is not SD. (again pending on date of ordering)
And also to contact me if they wish to stock the real deal.
Anything from TBV for sweetener is now questionable to if it’s the his own changed recipe version of SD or if he’s using my own formulation that he may be selling bulk on the side without it being listed on his site. It’s like how some stores sell nic but don’t list it)
I did contact chefs to inform them in which they replied they will look into it.
Don’t know what there is to look into.
It’s not SD if they purchased it in the time I stated.
I haven’t received any communication or anything from them since.
I am not sure who else in the U.K stocks SD.
But…if they are stocking it in the U.K…it’s not my product and not the real deal. (and again pending on time of order)
It’s a shame.
The only shop I know as of right now with certainty that will be stocking SD is in the U.S. is OSDIY
They will have the full 100% Authentic SD and SM very soon. I shipped them out an order last week

Chefs doesn’t sell it anymore, so I ordered 2 bottles from Nomz a few days ago. Now I’m sure I don’t get the real stuff🤨

I am not in the U.K (obviously) and again I do not know when Nomz purchased SD.
I think if users of my product and to have access, just mass request it to your store of choice.
I do not have a website as TBV used his own website for orders. The only way to order SD from me exclusively would be to send me an email.
I can then negotiate price and shipping.
Shipping is the killer.

Then you got the one with less muting. The original is the one everyone was complaining about having muting issues though. Im just guessing but I’d say the adjustment he made was the EM in it as EM is known to mute.

What he got was the fake.
And the muting issue was not fixed with what he changed.
I have a 120ml of TBV here and it reeks of cotton candy. We all know what causes that scent. So no…he did not remove that.
I know what he took out and they are critical to the end result of mixes.
I have listed the ingredients in a post a while back on ELR.
I have nothing to hide on my ingredients.
I know what he removed and it was a TOTALLY wrong call. Nothing blends correctly. End results are not correct…there is no consistency in his highjacked version.
some muting of high end notes was always an issue with SD…I neve denied that especially with fruits.
I’ve taken all the details from users with complaints and slapped them in an excel file and am working on a final upgraded version (testing stage)

I dont need to condone anything. He didn’t highjack it. He told you a long time ago he needed to tweek it because of all the muting complaints. The complaints stopped at least a year or 2 ago. You’re making people think you just found out. Im not going to argue about it. I just think people should be aware before they start blowing up someones business. Obviously i know SM is released. I got you your first account. If youre going to start distribution thats great. I told you that you should of done that long ago. However you need to do it right.You know what you’re doing is wrong. You can spin it however you want. People need to know where its being made and hope you have it registered this time and get SDS. Have a good day. Take Care.
