How are folks doing with their custard mixes? I get stymied because there’s so many directions you can take a custard in. I decided on two fairly simple ones. One using a classic custard profile and one using some newer custard releases. At least I get to see if I like them.

Creme Anglise (DV)

Or

I like the look of your second recipe. I’m looking forward to the arrival of PB Taffy to give something very similar a go. The more I read about Taffy the more I’m sure it’s going to be a winner.

Do you get much flavour out of that WF Salted Caramel? I did a recipe with it and couldn’t taste it, but maybe it’s just me…

Joel, I wasn’t that impressed with the WF either but then I am not impressed with many caramels to begin with. For me, they fall short of my expectations.
