Switching to mixing with a scale (A water question)

Just got my new scale! I’ve been stubborn about the switch for a while now since I’ve been mixing for many years (I started cause the only e-liquid you could by at the time was from China).

My questions is:
I’ve always mix in 10% distilled water in my VG, how to I do that using the weight feature on ELR?
I figure if I mixed it in my VG bottle that I use to mix that would throw off the VG wight per gm.

What should I do?

Thanks.

@Furley The ELR calculator has an input for water/vodka/PGA. If you don’t pre-mix water into your VG, then it’s very straightforward. If you do pre-mix, then that sounds like it would get pretty complicated, and you’ll need to do some math on your own outside of what ELR is capable of doing for you. I’d just keep the water out of your VG.

If you are wanting to be super precise, as @MarkM said, you will have to add your water separately. Depending on how much of your VG+water mix you typically add, you will have to calculate how much water that would be in the final mix and put that in the calculator.

But, 10% water is not going to make a very big difference in the weight and if it were me, I wouldn’t worry about it that much. VG weighs 1.26 g/ml and water weighs 1.0 g/ml. VG + 10% water weighs about 1.23 g/ml
