Taking homemade juice on a flight to the USA?

Last time I visited the USA I brought a couple of 10ml bottles in my stored luggage located in the toiletries bag thinking I’d buy some juice whilst there.
It was actually a novelty for me to be able and visit vape shops and buy juice with nicotine in it as I live in Australia.
As that was quite a while ago and the laws have tightened up considerably over there I’d imagine most of those vape shops are no longer in business which would probably make me rethink that strategy now.
Thinking about it New York was one place we went to and from what I read they’ve really been reamed.

No worries. Can have up to 100ml in carry on bag. The rest goes in checked bag. Be aware if you have any juice in a tank type or pod, there is a very good chance it will leak as they pressurize the plane.

There’s no way for them to know if your bottles are bath oil, shampoo, liquid soap, etc. Heck you could even put your juice in cleaned out soap bottles with “Essence of Rose” labels  Screw them, I’m tired of being told what I can and can not do.

Shapes of things do count, though. One time I had a bottle of perfume in my bag and they thought it was a grenade  The top cap had a ring on it.

Yea flavored ejuice is banned here in ny however if you go in any vape shop that actually sells vape stuff and not just weed if you ask them they all have flavored juice behind the counter or a secret room full of flavored juice

Thing is vape shops and in fact anything whatsoever vape related is now banned in the complete country but that seems to be having a knock on effect to legitimate ,existing completely non vape related businesses too.

Its crazy if you think about it. I once forgot to check my leatherman in and it was still in my carry on…got confiscated :man_facepalming: I then mentioned to security that my juice could very well be nitro glycerine and my mod an ignition source and amongst the stares of dumbfoundary, all hell broke loose :rofl: Flight regulations are stupid. I dont reckon you’ll have any problem with your juice, although my story happened on a local flight, not an international one.
