Just got the package that @Gus6 sent me to test some DIY recipes. Thank you very much my friend!! Can’t wait for them to steep to try them out.
Testing them on my Solo Dna 100C with the Haku Venna and my Kennedy 24.
This are the liquids:
His own popcorn recipe:
With no steep time I can already say that Popcorn is probably going to be one of my favorites out of the batch and for sure the one I am going to make for myself really soon.
It has a really nice and balanced sweetness from the Vanilla Marshmallow and I can taste a really nice nutty flavor. I am loving it alredy.
DaMommma’s Ry4 and Goofy’s are also liquids im pretty sure i will like quite a bit once steeped. Very nice creamy Tobaccos.
Bust a Nut is another liquid I really think needs a good steep time before enjoying its flavor. I can taste the Bavarian cream for now so I will let it steep for a bit.
Morning Kick seems nice but I think it really requires a good steep time cause I cant really figure out its taste. I can taste only the Cream Fresh as of now.
That’s great! Testing others recipes is definitely inspiring!
It’s always fun to see new people testing things out. Reminds me of when I was exactly as bald as I am now (I lost my flowing locks at 16).
I’d suggest keeping a fair bit of the first one and sampling every three days over a month: Beer Nuts (FLV) marries differently with some flavours as it settles down.
All the other creams will benefit greatly from a 2 week steep. Apart from Vanilla Custard V2 (Cap) - that was pretty much made to be good to go after 48 hours.
I never met a all Flavorah recipe that didn’t take 15 days to steep.
Congratulations on finding recipes you like so fast.
I’d suggest checking out our own honey badger’s, @Rocky02852, ones: They generally need less than a week.
Have tried many of Rocky 's wonderful recipes. I speaking more about Smokieblue. Also very nice but they didn’t come together for 2 weeks.
Well Smokey blended in a style which takes into account the maturation of each flavour and pretty much as mad as my methods. Though, I think she did make a few tobacco, fruit and cocktail blends designed to be vaped after 3-5 days. Her Winston is the one which leaps to mind.
Winston didn’t come together for me right away. I set it aside and got back to it. Then added menthol. LOL
I adjusted the PG/VG ratio (you all know my preference for 60-80% PG) and added DNB, along with a few others to make a quitting blend for others.
Haven’t made a tobacco mix for quite some time. When I was new I had to clone my KOOL cigarettes I smoked. Mostly INW and FA and FLV Classic cigarette and smoke. Haven’t vaped that in almost 6 years.
Classic Cigarette (FLV) has made a bit of a return in my blends as I was missing the ash note and I’d prefer to increase the ash than go back to fags.
Yes i just wanted to try them out for curiosity. I alredy stored them in a drawer and i will take them out again in a week and see
Always a good way to start:
Begin with knuckle tests of a single drop of each flavour on your knuckle.
Then move on to SFTs (Single Flavour Tests): When you make a number of bottles with the same flavour at different strengths.
And then the advanced part: Making a blend and repeatedly checking it over at least a month.
Over time, you’ll build a kind of gut feeling about how different flavours are likely to interact around each other.
