We won’t see these batteries for another 10 years or so 
If we do, it would be wonderful, though - but I am not holding my breath. Every year a couple of fantastic battery-discoveries are announced, but we never seem to see them realized into actual products…

Yeah too bad we won’t ever see it. I’d love to see a 10,000mah 50c 18650 sized battery that won’t blow up in your face if it shorts out but for now I’ll stick with my vtc5s
I wonder what ever happened to the Carbon batteries that were being developed. They seemed promising too, but after hearing last year that 18650’s were about to be manufactured, I did not hear any thing else about it.
