So I have made mention of my “Island of Misfit Flavors” on here in a few threads. For those that don’t know, it is the place where all the flavors I bought that I either didn’t like or have been replaced go to die a very slow and lonely death. That inventory has grown to a sad number and it got me thinking.
Now this is probably ridiculously obscured but what if I/we set something up like a trade program or sell them at a crazy reduced price that would just cover the price of shipping? That would allow people to unload all the flavors they wasted $ on and will probably never use again for something they would? Is there anyway to do something like this? I really do not care about the $ aspect of this for I have already written them off, I just feel bad looking at all these knowing maybe they could go to a better home and someone else would get use out of them…
I understand there is a certain level of trust involved when it comes to trading if that’s one route…
I don’t even know if people even have a large amount of flavorings as I do either…
It’s just a thought and probably a stupid one at that but I don’t have any local friends that vape I could even toss them to if given the chance…
If anyone has an idea on how to get this off the ground in a productive way I would love to hear it!! I know I could go on ebay/craigslist or whatever but who wants to buy some already open flavors from some random dude haha- It would only be for the people here at ELR since I have started a relationship with a lot of you and for the most part, know and trust you…
Maybe a private facebook group? Invite only? Thoughts? Suggestions?

To give ya an idea of how big my island is currently…55 flavors, that I either do not like, will never use or have switched out for a different one that suits my needs
I’ve thought about this (and for devices too) for some time. However, I think it makes little sense with flavors since there is someone who will be paying for something someone else will inhale. Something that has been opened. Personally I think it creates a liability issue that for me I would not expose myself to. That’s why I dump the flavorings I know I will never use such as TPA’s Blackberry. I only buy small quantities of flavors until I’ve tried them so the wasted money is kept to a minimum. But back to the liability. I only make juice for myself, close family members and a couple of friends. See the thought occurred t me that someone could claim some type of injury on my liquids. Just fighting it alone would be financially devastating. So rather than expose myself to that possibility I simply don’t share my mixes with the exception of what I mentioned. Even with that, there’s still a level of risk. Point it, I think it’s a great idea you have in theory, but I wouldn’t be involved personally.

I couldn’t agree with you more @SthrnMixer and it would be something I would equally be concerned about. It would be a VERY limited group of people of people and definitely not something I would do for the general public…or for that matter the majority of the people on ELC (no disrespect)
That being said, I do have a handful of people I have met along the way I would trust and have no issue swapping or giving my stuff to…again a very small circle but one nonetheless.
It’s just a thought…it’s a shame that I have all these and I would get more enjoyment out of giving them to someone with the knowledge that they are ising them and enjoy them. Definitely not something on a mass scale for sure!
Everything I do have I have only used 1 drop of, so they are full bottles and that’s what hurts when it comes to dumping them down the drain!!
Equipment on the other hand would definitely work! Unfortunately for me, I only have a handful of tanks, subtanks and that…so I wouldn’t be a big contributor there haha
I’d suggest if you haven’t already to start a group PM with those you trust and think might be interested. PS I’m interested if I happen to be on that list.
