While not being a grape-head, I’ve been following this thread closely to see how you guys are doing. Having never vaped Black Vine, it does sound like a good one. I’ve seen DV flavors mentioned quite a bit here, and I started checking, and found that I’ve never reviewed or tested any of them ?? !!! How could this be ??
I’m thinking about picking up 20 or so to test them. @DJ35, or all, have any thoughts on the MUST haves ?? The DV Blackcurrant sounds like a good one to add to the list.
They so need to be reviewed by you! The notes are really lacking for pretty much all of them and to have a review on at least 20 of them would be absolute gold!

I’ve got (Dv) “blackcurrant” and “passion fruit” also some or there tobacco’s. The tobacco’s all have the same base which tastes like (fa) “Virginia”. The other two fruits taste like the (fa) equivalents. Because there so close to (fa) our clone is better using the (fa).
I think (speedee) has a few more (Dv) so he should be able to give a little information about those.
Our black vine is about a 99% clone, it’s taken a lot of trying different flavours and percentages to get there. It’s now just a case of tweeking the tropical part slightly to get it spot on.
I’ve got (Dv) “sherbet lemon” as well and it’s good.
You can use 0.75% (fa) “concord grape” or 1.5% (cap “concord grape (stevia)” in it’s place. It hardly makes a difference. The clone now has 1% (cap) “sweet guava” instead of the “dragon fruit” thanks to @RicklePick-Eddie1z’s brilliant idea.
It’s just a case of balancing the “jackfruit” and “guava” a touch to get it spot on, but it’s really good as is.

@SessionDrummer yeah as DJ said you can swap out the grapes & it doesnt make a catastrophic difference, the only slight difference is a little twang on the end of white grape but honestly it doesnt change the recipe much at all/if at all. Now as you like the grape you can actually increase the % to push more grape out of it & it is actually really nice, i liked cap concord at 2.5% i did, just shave a couple % off the other high % flavours whichever ones you would prefer a little less of. Thats another thing with this recipe, you can actually just swap things around as you please & its still really nice either way, out of the 60+ versions i have made i havent had one bad one, every single version i have vaped & enjoyed all of them, some more than others but still,lol.
But it is really close to the original, all of the last variations are damn close.
Edit - also forgot to add that these specific variations are just testing out CAP passionfruit in place of FA passion. Off the shake & 1+days its really good, im not quite sure if it makes a whole lotta difference from FA passion yet & i vaped the last bit of the last version yesterday, so now i need to mix the version with FA & compare 2 versions side by side to see if the passion does make a difference

I have been slacking a bit these last 2week or so with keeping up with this kind of testing, i have only been making “next variations” & i have been vaping literally every drop before i decide to mix more (which is why i have none of the FA passion version left to compare to CAPs).
Like i said in an earlier comment, i will be back ‘as active’ as i was before, just have a lot going on over the next few weeks, i am here though mixing/testing as & when i can, just not quite as much as normal for now. Still here & still love y’all same

My thoughts are the same about “guava” and “jackfruit” both at 0.75%. I’m vaping some I mixed last night and its hard to tell the difference next to the OG. The “guava” has made the improvement it needed. It’s like finding a piece of puzzle amongst many and knowing straight away that it fits.
