This may be a stupid question to most people

I realize I got some OCD issues lol, but I was just wondering if anybody else here washes they’re tools when they buy them. Say Allen wrenches, screwdrivers and scissors.

Lol that’s not stupid. It’s smart who knows how long those sat out in a warehouse where a rat could have peed on any of it.

One time I got a tank from Fastech and I couldn’t wash it enough smelled so gross.

So yes I wash everything too !

Even in our pg !

Hey! “E. coli and yeast to generate 1,2-propanediol(PG) from glucose”…

Finally I found a use for all that E. Coli I got lying around :stuck_out_tongue:

 well it’s within us normally anyhow we may as well get more out of it. Actually I have no idea what you do for a living so you may be well informed we have E.coli as a normal flora in our GI tract. However O157:H7 is the organism that causes all our troubles with the dreaded " pukey / dookey " So lets hope they keep that one away from our juices !

Ohh I was just joking hahaha… Sure is interesting E. Coli can use glucose to make PG tho isn’t it?

There are other micro organism being engineered to make pg as well, but I am not trying to derail this thread as much as I already have  it is interesting thou !

I’m not afraid of bacteria… I’m afraid of nicotine. With an ultrasonic you can clean stuff in a few seconds with just hot tap water. Whenever I’m building coils and re-wicking, scissors, allen wrenches and pliers get juicy. I just drop em in for 30 seconds. Same for mixing juice. Of course I only use hot tap water, but you could add a little non-flammable degreaser like Simple Green (for the tools you mentioned?) but removing all the oil from tools is not advised. Heh rat pee? maybe a teaspoon of bleach (In your USC with a Liter of water) …heh maybe a tablespoon of FIRE (joking …dont clean your tools with fire  )
