I can’t get that one :frowning: so many unavailable here. the laws are ridiculous. even bakeries are being questioned when they import flavours, so we’re really limited

@radicalmango … For starters, any straight NET liquid(s) or juice blended with NET will not be a good choice for you, considering you’re dealing with a disposable pod device. It would be a very short life for the pod.

Until you bump up to building your own deck (diy coils), you’re going to need to stick with synthetic flavors when mixing juice. Your pods will have a much longer lifespan with synth juice.

Next: From which vendor(s) do you purchase flavors? Please list them all.

So far I’ve learned from my mixing experiments that I don;t think I like 7 Leaves. It has a herbal kind of perfumery smell to me and sticks out from all the others. Oak Wood, Whiskey and Brown Sugar are nice in tiny amounts. I ordered the Buttered Popcorn because a friend told me my HQD Hbar smelled like it but it was disgusting lol. I’ve tried an ashy tobacco flavour which I think would be a good addition, so am thinking of getting DNB

To me anything RY4 tastes like sweet soil.
Sounds like you might be leaning towards my tastes and if you can get hold of the flavours this is worth a mix.

That was a great deal of work on your part @radicalmango ! I laud your efforts to let us know what flavors are in your stash and available for purchase.

You are definitely between a rock and hard place, with regard to creating a clone of your favorite Hbar tobacco flavor.

Honestly, I must tell you, don’t stress over creating a clone. Tobacco juice clones are extremely difficult to duplicate. Just about everyone who has tried will tell you the same. It can be a sisyphean expenditure of time, energy, and money! So, let’s try and come up with a tobacco flavor profile you can enjoy.

Given your stash and available purchase options, it’s going to be a long road to enjoyment. But, don’t get too down about all that. There are ways around the hurdles ahead of you. Let me scratch my head concerning the information you have provided. Collectively, something can be done to help you down this road.

As a fellow Aussie I appreciate your situation as obviously I’m living it too. I know at least one of the businesses you’re quoting due to the ‘on back order’ and am surprised yet grateful they still exist. I must admit I suspected the government would stalk this site but am more concerned now that you specifically mention it.
I know @Kinnikinnick has said that NETS wouldn’t be a good idea for you if you’re using pods and I completely agree that NETS destroy coils. However it is possible that Aussies could be left with no alternative if one enjoys tobaccos and wants to try and create their own.
As one of the permissible juice flavours in Australia I think some are available obviously premixed but you may need a prescription depending on what state you live in. I don’t know how much they might cost but I’d be sure they’re not cheap. From memory they can’t actually be named anything either other than tobacco 1 or 2 or such like and in plain packaging which doesn’t help. As no advertising is allowed does that mean they can’t actually even describe the flavour anywhere? I don’t know.
One day Australia may move away from this madness and pass new laws under a properly licensed and regulated regime. Live in hope anyway.

lol you should see my flavour matrix spreadsheet :stuck_out_tongue: Yeah I’ve come to terms with the fact that I may not get close to my Hbar. Such is life! I’m currently using a Relx tobacco pod I bought overseas which isn’t terrible. Not a lot of flavour but better than the overly sweet tobacco flavours.

You’re a legend! Can’t wait to see what ideas you may have

Yeah they definitely stalk certain subreddits, so it wouldn’t surprise me. It’s so ridiculous. Even a lot of commercial food places have stopped importing PG flavours. It’s so obviously a con when you consider who owns the medical vapes.

Tbh, I had never even heard of NETs until recently. I still don’t fully understand vapes (except disposables,) even my own. Coils, tanks, salts and freebase…still foreign words to me!

tanks aren’t that complicated to make or acquire, it might take creative / deceptive measures and you would want a rebuildable

and mods can be done yourself too, really not the dificult

hard part might be sourcing the board by itself

here is a community that makes their own mods, they might have some useful info if you want to go that route

Cheers mate! From my mixing I know I like the smell of RY4, but i still haven’t actually tasted it yet so who knows. Thanks for the recipe! Hopefully i’ll be able to get more flavours sometime soon

Thank you! given i’m still trying to figure out how this vape works, i’ll put this on the back burner for now haha. Appreciate the tip tho - joined the subreddit

RY4 is just a blend of toffee & nut with a hint of tobacco and not what i would call a propper tobacco flavour.
Think it was first invented by dekang or hangsen back in the day.

Oh wow, it doesn’t smell that sweet to me at all! Which is strange because I find most tobacco flavours too sweet, almost like syrup. I don’t like dessert type vapes at all (even though I have a major sweet tooth lol.) Cola is the only other flavour I like. I recently discovered i like guava too, but I wouldn’t want it every day like I do tobacco.

Virginia smells close to the real thing, but I haven’t found a recipe I like with it yet.
Red Burley goes well as an accent I think?
7 Leaves smells and tastes like perfume to me.
Which leaves me with RY4 and RY4 Double.
The following I’m considering buying: Turkish, Perique Black, Black Fire, Red Oak, Acetyl Pyrazine, Latakia, Amber (do people use this in tobacco flavours?)

IIRC there are places you can buy DNA boards (one of the best)

if you anyone you know has a 3d printer you can probably just download a model and print the case, then its just soldering a couple of wires and attaching a few buttons, screws and the battery leads, glueing a magnet or 2

its relatively simple for an electronic device, just to give you an idea

Hold on to that idea, until you get some insight from users via the forum or researching flavor notes. Saving your cash for the flavors you might really use is the goal.
