From where I’m at (New England) it will be at it’s full eclipse at 5:14 am. Lol, don’t know if I can do it but I’m hoping. This falls right in line with the book I’m reading:
Here in Thailand we will have it tonight (Nov. 8th) doing the annually Loy Krathong festival which is a traditional event where people worship the goddess of water, showing gratitude for all we gather from the ocean. Adding lunar eclipse to this, where people set out small rafts with flowers and candle to sea/lake and light up lanterns could become a sight worth gazing upon
Oh, that sounds wonderful! Thank you for sharing that, Ronni.
Oh bugger! I just missed it conditions are perfect too, clear sky no wind…
Yeah, I missed it too.
Don’t want to rub it in but it was the most awesome thing I’ve seen in the night sky. I did have a pair of stargazer binoculars that ramped it up a few notches. There will be another in 2025 if you want a 2nd shot.
I wonder why I thought you lived Down Under?
Because of her bloody ACCENT !!!
