I was wondering if anybody has used the old vanilla flavour from Totally Wicked. They have stopped selling it and replaced it with the “Gold Standard” line of flavors which is rubbish. Is there a vanilla from another company coming close to the old version?
I’m also looking for a DIY alternative to “American red tobacco” of their Titan fluid range. There are so many different ones…
When I’ve started to vape this was my ADV and I’m still using it in my mtl tank at work where I can’t produce big clouds. I used to buy both American red and vanilla Titan Fluid and mixed it 50/50. Later I switched the vanilla to DIY but now I’m out of TW vanilla.
TW is notorious for taking others’ products and naming them something else. To me American Red sounds like Decadent Vapours American Red, which is a really nice base tobacco.

I’ll have a closer look at the DV range but if it is a re-branded liquid then I think it is more likely to be TECC/Joyetech for the Titan fluid. But I am really looking for a DIY solution.
I’ve bought a bottle of TPA red type blend but my first try with 5% is a bit weak. I’ve also tried different TPA and CAP vanillas and custards but none of the ones I have are even close to the old TW vanilla. Such a shame, TW was an excellent shop in the past but they have failed to keep up with the rest of the vaping world.
I’ve yet to pop my Medicine Flower cherry (so too speak ) but I’ve seen a lot of love for MF vanilla. Might be worth a shot. I’m sure it’s not the same thing, but who knows…You might like it better!
Yes Medicine Flower… I’ve heard about it here on the forum and tried to find the strawberry and the vanilla here in the UK but the few shops which have MF flavors are all out of vanilla.

Today I’ve opened a bottle of 5% TPA red blend, 4% TPA Vanilla custard and 1% vanillin and something sucks but i really wanted to see what the vanillin would do. I should resist these great ideas and just go single flavor until i found something to replaced the TW vanilla with.
So far i tried vanilla bean ice cream, french vanilla and vanilla swirl and none of them were close or would blend well with the american red.
Any other recommendations for a nice vanilla?
I know the prices are steep but if you need a lower percentage it’s probably not so bad. How much more per 50ml bottle of juice? I guess we can survive the difference if we get clean natural ingredients for our liquids.
So I’ve emailed TW and asked if they could tell me the manufacturer of the Vanilla flavour. They didn’t tell me who it was but they told me they have stopped producing it.
Have to find an alternative then… today I should get a new delivery with a few new vanillas.
