Trying to Wrap my head around the Make a base option in the calculator?

So, if I make a cream base at 50PG/50VG and want to use it in a recipe and add 11% PG flavoring to it does it skew the final product to 61PG/39VG

I am trying to make 40PG/60VG final product BASE+Flavor with 11% of Flavor not including base.

So, if I make the Base at 51PG/49VG, then add 11% VG Based Flavor does it bring it to 40PG/60VG?

And will the calculator let me do it?

I believe you’re talking about a different kind of base than what ELR can make (pure flavor base - just premixed flavorings).

What I think you are looking for, is nicknamed “stones”, like “Milkstone” etc. ELR only supports it, if you make the base with PG (most flavorings are PG-based), so you just put your base-recipe as an ingredient in a new recipe. If it’s PG-based the numbers will match. ELR does not currently support flavorings with a PG/VG-mix.
