Just fell over this on facebook. It’s a very easy and quick way to twist a wire without a drill:

I kinda do the same thing… but use a vertical method, incorporating a heavy steel cylinder and using the cylinder’s kinetic energy (once I give it a little boost) to twist the wire for me. :wink: Science rocks! :man_student:

I dont do many twisted coils anymore but when i did i used a heavy coffee mug and a screw driver. Never tried it with anything over 26g tho.

Meh… me either, but, I’ll do a twisted 28ga every now and again just to have a reasonably stout coil that will last a good while. :smirk:
