Congrats @Code-Vape . New tank for you!
Congrats on your win buddy. Sorry i missed the thread.
Congradulations!
@LordVapor yall gotta start remembering to tag me. I didnāt read the review until after giveaway was over.
But was a great review, with good pics! Love your reviews.
I will look back at this thread and tag everyone in it next review I do.
@Code-Vape
Your tank should be there today or tomorrow. I left the Titanium coils in it because I was told the Sigelei 150 should do Ti. I rewicked and added some of my Banaberry Custard to the wick and a tad in the tank to test for leaking. I closed the juice flow and the air flow and hopefully it arrives dry and in good shape. I also included a few bottles of juice for you to try out in it. Enjoy!
P.S. I got a much better wick in it this time. I let it sit with the juice flow wide open for 20 minutes and not a drop leaked out. So hopefully you can vape it with the juice flow opened up. Let me know how it does!
Awesome I canāt wait to try this sucker out!
Thanks again brother!
Woww. That is awesome. Vapemail! Wicked already and juice in the package. Every tank should come like that!
Haha. I kinda felt I had to put juice in it because @Code-Vape is not a seasoned builder. So I wanted to make sure it was wicking perfectly before I sent it out. Hopefully it works out well.
I tell ya once I get it and burn them coils out I will be making some myself for sure, so before ya know it I will be seasoned
You donāt dry burn Titanium coils. They should last a very long time. I just remove the wick and scrub them with a plastic or brass wire brush.
Totally agree, never dry burn titanium!
As for longevity of ti, had the same 24g build in my ubertoot since the day i got it and it still works perfectly, ā8 mtsā
@Code-Vape
Dang thatās a long ass time lol
I guess I will have to learn how to build on my Sapor that I always have others build on for me.
Youāll find ti and ss will last alot longer than kanthal.
I have found that using Ti and SS , building spaced coils makes things so easy. I have built enough that I know that using 22awg Ti, wrapped 6.5 times around a 3mm rod, will put me right at .1 ohms give or take .02 or so. If the deck allows a larger coil I go 3.5mm using the same number of wraps, but I try to get the coils snug up towards the posts as closely as possible to try to end up at the same resistence (ohms). Itās a bit of a guessing game. But I always end up close to .1 ohm.
One thing I will suggest is wrap the wire slowly, keeping it tight to the rod, and each coil wrapped tightly to the one before it. When you run your last wrap the wires need to face the same side of the coil. So wrap it about 90 degrees past where it needs to end up. The coil will relieve a bit and spring back.
One thing I also do is I grab both ends together with regular pliers and pull to tighten the coil as much as I can to the rod. This helps build each coil the same because the goal is to try to get the same resistence on each coil so they heat evenly. This used to be easy with Kanthal. Get them glowing evenly and you were good. You canāt do that with Ti coils because Ti will melt if you dry fire it. This is one thing I see a lot of people neglecting with Ti builds. Ti will also turn white if you manage to get it too hot. If this happens replace the coil.
Another thing Iāll point out us donāt go below 2.5mm diameter with Ti. It needs to wick good and larger coils seem to help. So grab you some 22awg and maybe some 24awg Ti wire and start building coils. You will see it is a lot easier than you think after you build a few.
I might try to put together a video to share on here⦠someday.
But watching Titanium ignite is so much fun! :pyro
A know, itās fun.
