LOL… for a while there i was thinking is it just me? I think as we get a bit older we get more sensitive and cautious about loud noises

I love your dog avatar.

Don’t know why… it’s expression looks uncharacteristically intelligent for a dog.

Lol, I know this…I lived in cities my entire life and right about now I could very much enjoy a log cabin in the woods with the sound of a babbling brook in the background.

Thanks. That’s a picture of my dog Blue. She passed a couple of years ago and there isn’t a day that I don’t miss her. Most entertaining four legged friend I ever had. You just couldn’t be sad around her.

Sorry for your loss. Losing a pet sucks. My ex-wife and I had a pit bull and then a retired racing greyhound over the years. Both were wonderful family members. Each of them lifted our spirits in their own unique ways. I credit Hero, the greyhound, for saving my life when I was in the deepest depths of depression. Dogs are the greatest. They don’t care what you look like. They don’t care what you do for a living. They don’t care how much money you make. Feed them and give them some love and you get unconditional love in return. The best deal in town.
