Used PG nic in VG recipes

It’s a long story but the bottom line is, I accidentally mixed 8 bottles of juice using VG nic recipes but used PG nic.

How can I fix this asinine mistake? I think if I double the size of the mix (30ml to 60ml and so on), adjusting the VG, PG and PG nic it would be close enough. I think I could figure out how to balance out the PG and VG but it’s the nic, the weight difference between VG and PG nic.
As I type this, I think it’s coming to me, does this sound right:

I use the Recipe Calculator, I think for the flavors, PG and VG, just look at the 60ml (or appropriate x2 size) amount for each, subtract what I have now from the new size and add that amount.
It’s the nicotine that has me stuck, would I basically do the same thing? Look at the PG recipe, subtract what I have from what I need to double the recipe?

Nic is too precious of a commodity to waste, if I vape as is the nic level will be way too high, for me anyway.

edit: If there’s an easier way, keeping the bottles the same size, I’m all ears! I have about 3/8" to 1/2" shortage in each bottle, so a little room to work with.

Are you sensitive to PG if not there shouldn’t be that much of a difference in the two recipes. I mix with VG nicotine and when I convert another persons recipe that uses PG nicotine there isn’t much change except maybe having to use less PG or VG. The amount of nicotine will not change from PG and VG based. If it’s 100mg Nicotine then other than the weight it should be the same concentration’s in both. I’d try vaping what you have if the nicotine seems to strong use the extra space in bottle to add VG to dilute it.

I do have problems when I go above 85/15 - 80/20 is my max, any higher and I get a chronic cough and hack up some gnarly stuff from my lungs. For me, the nic is a concern also, I vape 6%, if I go any higher I can get sick from it.

Ok in that case I’d say if you are concerned with the VG being too high top off your bottle with straight PG to dilute that will dilute the nicotine and keep your % under 80/20.

Personally I would recreate the recipe the way you would normally mix it, and then you’ll be able to see the discrepancies between them. This way you’ll be able to see how much (if I’m understanding this correctly) how much VG you’ll need to add roughly. …just create a completely new recipe, then compare the 2. It won’t be exact, but at least you’ll know how much you should have in there to make it safe for you to vape. I hope this makes sense.

Your nic levels will be slightly higher.
You weighed PG nic assuming it was the same density as VG nic
VG=1.261g/ml and PG=1.036g/ml
so you added approx 25% more nic that you intended
That turns 3mg/ml juice into 4.2mg/ml

The other potential problem is the VG/PG ratio.
Your Target: (VG + VG-nic = 85%) + (PG + PG Flavors = 15%) = 100%
Your Result: (VG = 82%) + (PG + PG Flavors + PG-nic = 18%) = 100%
These calculations are assuming you’re using 100mg/ml nic and vape 3mg/ml
You turned 85/15 juice into 82/18 juice - Your mistake only affected 3% change in the final product

I think the change is minor and you won’t notice much difference.
