Yes. But should I stick with LNW?

I have had problems with River Supply nic triateing.
Figured it to be a one-off though.
$37 plus change for a liter of 100mg/ml FB. Kind of a no brainer if you are questioning you’re supply.

You got time @scifoc, stick with what you know.

What mg/ml did you titrate it to (short or in excess)?

100mg/ml. Tested my kit against two other of the same. LNW 98mg, ECig Express 97mg, River 76mg.

That’s a significant discrepancy! Did you reach out to them for comment and remedy?

Yep. The lady on the phone said she had to look at the results from their tests. Questioned my results and blew me off. Never heard from her again. Never bought from them again either. Not even flavors or base.

That’s how you do it @rcleven, let you dollars do the walkin’.

I’ve always heard and personally experienced nothing but superior customer service from “River”. Once I had ordered a 4oz bottle of Butterscotch Ripple and it clearly did not taste like my previous ones (I even had a little of a prior order from another vendor to compare side by side). They were very courteous and accommodating in refunding me, advising that I should not take a replacement from them, as more than likely all the like flavor concentrate would be the same. Their nicotine has always been adequate and quite reasonably priced, although I have not tested it (I do have a test kit but just haven’t). I wouldn’t consider their freebase product to be among my favorites but I have a couple liters of it for “future” needs.

I don’t know about the titration results but my taste tests and customer service have all been positive.

I’m surprised at the amount of discrepancy there! That’s just crazy!

it would be really good if someone could test the current product to see how good it is.

I just placed another order with River to take advantage of their St Patty’s Day sale. I have to stop ordering stuff pretty soon. My housemates are looking at me more strangely every time I get a new shipment.

@PandoraJynx Welcome to the forum and sorry you just found out the news. Some of us feel the vapocolypse is upon us and have been stocking up like mad. Vaping is so demonized and that is a shame.

Because I was ticked off and have been for some time, I did some death research. I don’t remember the figures exactly but:
2019 Deaths from smoking in the US. Over 450,000
2019 Deaths attributed to vaping in the US. 37
2018…per CDC Poison Control: Deaths from household chemicals…Unintentional poisoning deaths Number of deaths: 65,773

With these kind of statistics, why is vaping made out to be a public health issue. I was blown away by the number of deaths from household chemicals, but seldom do I read a news article or see that issue brought to light in other media. Makes me sad.

The United Parcel Service (UPS) reported a month ago that the private conveyance organization will presently don’t convey vaping items to either singular homes or organizations starting April 5, 2021. The choice follows the entry of the Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act that was affirmed by Congress on December 20, 2020, and endorsed into law seven days after the fact by the previous president Donald Trump.

USPS must create new rules for the delivery of vape products within 120 days of the date on which the bill was signed into law. However, the USPS has yet to announce what those new rules might be. The vape mail boycott will incorporate all nicotine-improved supplies just as "vape gadgets, items, and embellishments, which apparently implies in any event, vaping curls and tanks will be disallowed from conveyance across the country.

FedEx and DHL are two other prominent transportation organizations that will likewise quit conveying fume items. DHL has as of now recently restricted all shipments of nicotine-containing items, and FedEx was supposed to start its vape prohibition on March 1. Sadly, apparently, the FedEx boycott is as of now set up as per the organization’s site.

Things I wonder (just brain-storming)

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, once the ban actually takes affect.

Many businesses aren’t even sure what will TRULY be prohibited from shipping and how, and I suppose a business that caters mostly to DIY individual vape customers via post, will disappear.

I wonder if one of the “workarounds”, much like guns and ammo, might be semi annual “meetings” like gun shows, where folks gather to buy, sell & trade product in a bazaar-like setting.

I also wonder if there may be some opportunity for “clearance house” type places to arise out of this, for instance, in a particular city, a place that goes out of business palletizes their entire inventory and ships it to a warehouse that then allows people to peruse online “spreadsheets” of sorts, and go physically to pick up their orders at said warehouse.

I also wonder how many products will get “coded” to different product categories to allow for non vape related shipping, for instance:

Mech mods-flashlights

Flavor extracts- cupcake flavors/perfume

Coils- aromatherapy diffusers

Cotton- cotton

Vg- cosmetics

Pg- boat polish /leather conditioner

Etc.

I also wonder how this will affect brick and mortar vape shops, and how, by limiting sales to B&M stores and eliminating online shopping, might create more competition among those stores, driving prices to more reasonable numbers. For instance, at a shop I went to recently to try and get replacement glass, they had a horizon falcon tank for 79 dollars. Really? Maybe its time these ball busters GTFO and open up the market for “Big Dave’s monster vape warehouse” where the prices are aimed toward people who know better.

I also wonder why this couldn’t produce some sort of alternative business or social opportunities like:

Monthly gatherings at a local vape parlor or bar (21+!) or VFW hall, where cloud chasers gather to chew the fat about all things vape, and perhaps await the nicotine truck to arrive to supply everyone with their monthly supply of nicotine or flavor concentrates or(?). Maybe even discuss how to tell the federal gub’ment to mind their business (advocacy meetings).

Maybe you earn 100 ml of nicotine by doing something useful within a vape advocacy organization.

I wonder how many overseas companies will benefit by having the luxury of ignoring the ban and shipping vape items as toys, and further wonder how efficient our “government” is by allowing this to happen as a result of passing fucked up laws that benefit import companies and put the mom and pops straight out of business (ironically under an administration that prides itself in less government).

I also wonder why, in my state and many others, an 18 year old can now walk into a dispensary and purchase an ounce of weed for recreational use, but has to wait 3 more years before he can enjoy blueberry muffin flavored halloween fog with .03 nicotine. Could it be TAXES? Actually I really don’t wonder much about that.

I also wonder why myself and others are spending so much time panic buying clearance vape product and no time trying to do something about the law. For me, its because I think it’s hopeless, and for that, I should be ashamed.

Like I said, just brainstorming.

Some really interesting thoughts you have there and we very well may see some of them come to fruition. As for the gov’t efficiency, just think about the typical bureaucracy such as the DMV. I believe that lots of things will be able to slip through the cracks of our bloated and over-regulated gov’t staffed by many who just don’t give af.
