@daven PM’d you.
I had grown concern, as they were always marketed as “Vaping” flavors, or “For Vaping” and I didn’t see that changing, and feared how things would fare.
I’m wondering if BCF will continue to carry the FLV line. Too many flavor companies like FA & others have associated themselves with vaping friendly concentrates and our flavors may not as protected as we originally thought.
USPS has not made there announcement regarding final date they prohibit vapor products. I am now seeing that their deadline date is April 26th. Therefore, many companies that have commenced PACT compliance procedures still have USPS for retail shipping. This is going to end shortly.
Flavorah deciding not to become PACT compliant in the retail sales environment does not bode well for the US vaping industry. Their decision to remain branded as a vapor product provider while not doing retail is probably solely a financial one. It is interesting considering their flavor concentrates are considerably more expensive than most others. Yeah, I get the cost of R&D and craft/boutique etc., but well, this still sucks.
@Letitia This is getting me thinking of placing an order with BCF for 15 or 20 FLV flavors just in case things continue to change in the wrong direction. Thanks for your post(s).
Personally I’m going to sit back for a couple weeks before jumping. If I decide to jump at all. FLV are a great brand but I’ve already invested a considerable amount of money into gear and dyi and honestly don’t actually need more of either.
My husband tested the nic salt from river he reports it came to close to 96mg per ml. It is sold at 100 per ml. Sitting approx 2 years in freezer in a boston round with a polycone cap under argon. It was reported by myself around 3 days after I got it.
I know I’ll be needing to replace some flavors shortly, either from running low or some just losing potency over time. I used my FA Maple the other day and was astonished that it hardly had any flavor save it’s sweetness. Granted, it’s old.
I love fa maple. One of my favorite flavors in the morning.
have you tried Fa maple syrup ?
@jinx_d I have to find my “secret” notes for these, as the Maple is NOT the same as the Maple Syrup. I’ve never officially SFT’d them, but used them.
I have. It’s what I was referring to actually. I really like it. One of my very favorites
I thought I had both then I tested them side by side and they are the same despite being labeled one maple the other with the addition of maple. It was a rebottled flavor.
i had thought that i SFT’d it, but i haven’t. do you have a recommended % ? sweetener ?
I feel the same. To me it’s Aunt Jemima.
jinx, are you talking about FA Maple? 0.25% as a sweetener, up to 0.50% (if surrounded by bold flavors).
no, FA maple syrup
