That’s what I meant, Maple Syrup. Sorry, I shortened it. I don’t know of any FA Maple. I was just on the FA website and there’s only Maple Syrup.

@TorturedZen I just realized that our flavor database says FA Maple instead of Maple Syrup. I just perused the FA website and BCF and there’s no such flavor as just Maple (FA). Maybe in the distant past?

I know, that’s why I tagged @TorturedZen . It just says Maple in our database (drop-down menu). Not your bad, it’s confusing to people. That needs to be corrected. Maybe @Sprkslfly if TZ is not around? Rob, can you clear up this confusion with the FA Maple Syrup? Thank you. Is it a pita to fix?

FA maple syrup is there. i find that with some of the flavors/brands, that nearly all of the name needs to be typed in before the dropdown figures it out.

Yeah, that’s the ongoing problem we have with the flavor names in the database. @TorturedZen and @Sprkslfly are constantly working on it and eliminating duplicates and other issues like misspellings, wrong brands, names, etc.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe FA Italy labels it as Maple (Acero). My bottle says Maple Syrup and so do the ones selling at BCF.

Yes! They’re one and the same.
For the longest time, it was simply FA Maple. The Italian name (and listing on FA Italy) was Acero.
At some point, FA decided to start calling it maple syrup.
They’ve done unannounced name changes like this several times over the years.
Most of the time, you only notice it if you visit the manufacturer’s site, and even then, the change has sometimes been obscured within the actual website link itself.
Here’s a few pics that I hope will clarify…

I couldn’t (quickly) find a pic of the English label that just reads “Maple” (but I’m pretty certain it exists).

Yes and no.
If anything, they should be merged into FA maple (acero)… But that would probably wrinkle too many pairs of underwear. sigh

Seems sketchy seeing how all the usual places are requiring a business license, and maybe even other additional licences, and they are encouraging applicants to register with the ATF. I just found out about them a couple of weeks ago. You can buy pg, vg, and nic by the 55 gallon drum. Not that I would ever need to or want to. The place looks like DIY-central, I’m surprised they stayed off my radar so long. It’s not too far a trip.
