Placed my last order with them April 26th, received it yesterday, so about 2 weeks to the northwest US (and that was the untracked option, yes)

Thanks for the feedback!
I’m hoping to see it any day then given Cosmic’s marker. (I think I ordered on the 28th or 29th)

It’s been a tough wait.
I’m too excited… lol

Happy here, been wanting to try the Vampire Vape Blackcurrant concentrate, only to find out that not only Vampire Vape but many other sites in the UK that carry it no longer ship to the US. Did find one site, which not only shipped but had great customer communication regarding the issue, received their package yesterday without any problem. They’ve definately got a US repeat customer now.

You can also check out Jungle Flavors (formerly eCig Express) and Wizard Labs.

Some carry brands/flavors/sizes the others don’t, so it can’t hurt to compare.

@slyde When you buy nicotine from anyplace now, don’t mention Vaping. You might get on a no sale list as they try to avoid any regulatory heat. Welcome to the forum.

I’ve ordered from Chef’s Flavors twice, the first time was around Christmas 2020 and it was slow about 2 weeks to Virginia. Placed an order in march and had it in 5 days. They have VERY responsive customer service, very professional company. By the way, it was untracked Royal Mail option both times.

They seem to be a bit slower these days (at least, in my instance).

My order shipped Apr 28.
So it’s been 3+ weeks so far, and when I inquired a few days ago, the reply I received felt pretty ‘dismissive’.

Even though they stated that they’re told that it usually takes 5-7 days to hit another country’s borders, I give that plenty of leeway. chuckles

They also went on to say that they’d prefer I wait 32 days. Which strikes me as an odd number to settle on lol. Regardless, what bugs me is, if they say 32 days, then why the hell would they add on another (almost) two weeks, and tell me to hit them up again come June 11 if it still has not arrived??

June 1 would be roughly 32 days.
The email seems to be grasping at straws, but, they could also be new (which is why I’m not busting the individual’s chops publicly).

What I didn’t like most, was things being blamed on COVID.
What eats at me is contradicting statements:

  • wait 32 days!
  • no, contact us after a month and a half has gone by.

I’m not pissed or anything. Just annoyed by what feels like ‘a shrug of the shoulders’ and an apparent uncertainty of when it should actually be the proper cutoff time to address things. :man_shrugging:

This happened to me once, turned out the package got denied by US Customs and when Chef’s got it backed they re-shipped but this time with tracking at no additional cost. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for it to be returned to Chef’s but only about a week to arrive when shipped with tracking.

I hope it shows up on Monday for you brother, that sucks.

I don’t think it’s quite that serious.
After all, they generally have a great reputation for delivering quality product, and usually (from what I’ve gathered over the years) in pretty short order.

I get that things are still very screwy overall, but it’s more that I was expecting a different kind of reply (I guess). I was a bit surprised by what they said, or moreover, the way it was presented.

There’s always the chance that this is one of those one-off situations. That would be my luck after all. lol

I’m still hoping for the best. And still do have faith that if it should come down to where the rubber meets the road, that Chef’s will make it right.

It does however present a stronger argument (to me) to wait for an order big enough to justify the additional expense of using the tracked Royal Mail option though.
Sadly, that means the value of the order has to increase. And with as little as I ordered, still having arrived at 30£ ($45 US), that means another order is going to be a LONG ways off (and it took a couple of years to do this one, because most of what they have that I would use, can be gotten here faster and cheaper).

I’ve always used the tracked Commoner Mail and it gets there in the same time.

I’ve been using them for 3 years now. When I was in the UAE all but once I used Tracking. The one time I didn’t, it took twice as long to arrive. I also had one shipment that went from Wales to England to N. Ireland to Wales. I blame that on the drunk postman, not on them.

Seriously?
How’d you do that?!!
Crystal Ball? Moonlighting for Customs? Postmaster able to see my package (thanks to knowing my personal deets)? /kidding of course!

Seriously though! If I ever have problems with a delivery being late again, I now know who to call to wave his magic wand! LMAO

(And yes, for anyone that it wasn’t blatantly obvious to by now… My package arrived today!)
:tada:
