These are pretty nice. My co-worker just bought one but he paid a lot more than this after talking the guy down. He thought he got a deal for 80.00 and a bottle of Mother’s Milk.

I really didn’t think they were very popular. I do like the M50 I have so I thought this would be a good buy. Knowing you’re getting one to is very encouraging.
For an 80 watt device it’s pretty cheap ! Also it has some sort of wonky imitation temp control . Be interesting to see how that works . It’s supposed to be updated software to v0006
I couldn’t get the info on which version this is. But in the comment section somebody did say it was the v0006.
Fasttech couldn’t tell me which version I was getting . I don’t really care from what I read the update really didn’t do much in the way of regular performance with kanthal

I don’t think it fixed temp control but I don’t think the temp control ever worked in the first place . Which is why Its cheaper than the m50 I guess
That make sense. All I really need is for it to fire down to .1 ohms and 50+ watts and I’ll be happy.
I got the m80 make sure you do your update I didn’t and had to get a new one the devices in the shop I go to is v004 I’m up to v005.1
