same here. that’s why I picked it up. I’ve only used it so far with the premade .5 coil it came with…and…ehhhhh so far.
I need a magnifying glass just to see the threads, let alone measure between them!
Maybe it’s already out there somewhere, compiled by someone with more time than I have, but a cross reference of all the popular tanks / decks, and their screw & o ring sizes would really be useful.
Considering that in the near future, ordering screws from Kanger (for example), could mean we’re ordering a ‘tobacco product’, and if available, might cost a buck each. The same screw would be available at Freddy’s Fasteners for $5 for a pack of 50.

A friend of mine had a CNC business, but he sold it and retired. It was easy to go visit and get almost anything measured.
The new owners charge $80/hr $50min…firm. Nope !

I’m sure Kanger will re-design, they do listen very well. Can’t have a bad contact on either post. That’s a pretty small area to have a velocity style post, and the main reason I never bought one.

@MisterSinner I like my Subtank mini’s and my Toptank mini’s, and I have about 15 RBA’s. Easy to build, and even at .5ohm single coil, they are OK for DTL, but could use a little more air. They were great when I MTL. I use at least two every day. Unlike many folks, I like Kanger. Really like the 3 Dripbox’s. I have a handful of other tanks and drippers, but when I got the first Avocado 22, it became an instant favorite. Bought a second one while waiting on the 24 to come out, bought a third one to send to my Brother down under…but when I got the Avocado 24…DAMN…easiest and fastest 2-coil build I’ve ever done, flavor is over the top. Sticks out a little on the KBOX mini, but no worries. Already ordered another, and probably get a third. Pics are the Avocado 24 .38ohm when tweaked Also standing next to the Avocado 22 for comparison.(obviously after being pleasantly used)

Very nice. I’ve gotten into geekvape a lot lately as well. Love the tsunamis for ex. Between kanger, geekvape and wismec, I’m pretty happy.

Btw, I ran the Mini through the UC and checked it’s deck screws against the Kayfun clone. I could tell just by looking at them side by side, the Kanger deck screws are a larger diameter.

Ya, I bought a Tsunami to replace the use of my Alliance V2+. Even though the Alliance is very good, the Tsunami is better.
I have seen Rip’s vid on the Avocado 22 , but i just finished watching his on the 24…you think I am excited…
Rip is a trip !!! I think he likes it too. Today I am gonna build a 22 in dual with SS, and when my other 24 gets here,
I’m gonna build it in single SS.

I have the 22s and 24s tsunamis. Love the 22s, haven’t built on the 24s yet but I’m sure it will be good to go. Super easy to build on.

These are my favorite bottles right now, for aging and dispensing. Nice needle tip but 70PG flows thru easily,
and the soft squishy LDPE, almost like rubber. Battery boxes were $2.99 total, from China, 9 days, 10count.

Bought the Moonshot from a vendor from this forum on sale for $26.00 and liked it so much went to Fastech.com to purchase the clone for replacement parts. To my discomfort and delight I purchased this from FT https://m.fasttech.com/products/4498600 $11 cheaper. It’s the same thing. Metal case the same with logo, tank the same with logo.
So did I get screwed with a clone the first purchase from vendor here on ELR or did I win at the FT game?

Unless it specifically says “Authentic” in the heading on FT, it’ll be a clone. Note on that last link you posted it says “styled” instead.
Yep, ‘styled’ is a clone…but it doesn’t mean JUNK.
The worst part about ‘STYLED’-‘CLONE’ is replacement parts don’t always interchange, for example if you strip out a screw you may be totally fukd finding one that fits. unless you have some CNC shop that can measure your screw…you are ‘screwed’.

actually, sometimes you will actually buy an authentic, but they arent allowed to sell as authentic because they cut the price lower than MSRP.

I got into a big disagreement with kanger over doa kanger mini and plus had a run on them the decks were not machined down right after i found the problem they told me if I paid the shipping both ways when the new decks become available they would replace the deck. I suggested were they could keep there tanks. first they tried to say they were clones wrong . I have not and will not buy another kanger products since ever RTA they come out with has problems

I’ll just point out, I have nothing against clones, I have 2 Velocity clones and love them.
BUT, if it says “styled” it is a clone. The Chinese are very efficient at nabbing anything new, they only need one! And getting the measurements - then it’s mass production. There is some great 1:1 clones, my velocity twins are very well machined, very solidly build, only someone who’d know the authentic inside out could tell I reckon.
FT & the like have often sold authentics at slashed prices, only yesterday Gearbest had the limitless for €16 in a flash sale, and it was authentic. It did not say “styled” in the title. I don’t think the Chinese could really give a hoot about morals or rights tbh
