Nic and flavors for me .

What state do you reside in?
(I might need to come hunting my juice upā€¦ lol)

@CallMeTut, Texasā€¦ but Iā€™m moving. I finally cracked and mined the mountain of personal belongings boxed up in the garage for my vape gear but I have like 5mls of 48mg/L nicotine. Prepping your house for sale (while renting another one!) is impoverishing ā€¦and so is buying premium ejuice. Iā€™m freaking out. My BCV wishlist has like almost 100 flavors. I have a DIY itch I canā€™t scratch~! I just wanna dip my toes in that Nicotine River :sunglasses:
ā€¦I need a drink

Are these the screws?

From what I was told, the bottom of the head is actually flat, for easier wire capture.

And here I am in Misery (Missouri)ā€¦ just got told yesterday they (my employer) want me to go to Georgia for between 2 and 3 weeksā€¦ and while I have a dozen juices mixed up and ready to vape (about 3 weeks steeped on some) a month or so on some othersā€¦ I just looked at my list of things I had planned to mix/test and it totals up to 19 batches grrrr
I really need to stop making 30 or 50 ml batches and only make 15mlā€™s at a time. I keep making too much juice and it really kills the fun of mixing, because you get into a syndrome of ā€œdonā€™t need to mixā€¦ you already have plentyā€.

@CallMeTut I was going to make a joke about coming to babysit them for you, but it started to sound kinda creepy. You better just ship here so I can make sure they donā€™t get too old

If you think about it you better mix up a few more batches before you go. Theyā€™ll be juust right when you get home. The ones that are ready? ā€¦ship them to the hotel youā€™re staying at so the TSA doesnā€™t snag 'em outta your suitcase and put you on some ā€œlistā€. My kitchen is squeaky clean, but I may not be able to resist mixing up 3 X 30mls this weekend (people keep coming to my house at the most inopportune times! I have to always wear clothes and stuff)

Need some thread to make a good groundā€¦

Iā€™ll be driving (I can take more things when I drive instead of fly) TSA hasnā€™t bothered my juices in my check baggage as of yet, but over the last year or so, my employers have allowed me to drive w/exception of when I had to go out to LA or Boston or one or 2 immediate short notice requests for me. What Iā€™m really lucky about is that Iā€™ve been traveling with another person a lot lately and they donā€™t mind me vaping while we drive, so I am pretty lucky in that aspect.

Yeah, it surely helps. Once I got the threads to start it crushed the wire down enough to get a few turns on the screws. It is just a byatch to get them started.

Oh, the Sammy 30qā€™sā€¦ well worth the extra buck or so. I have both VT133ā€™s running now. Both have Diablos on them. One has 25rā€™s, the other the 30qā€™s. The 30qā€™s outlasted the 25rā€™s by a few hours it seems, and I was trying to vape each device equally.

That looks like them. But I am not sure of the thread size.

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered 4 for $19.96.

I am not sure if they are the same as OEMā€¦ @LordVapor believes they are KM2 x 3mm
I donā€™t understand the [.4], but the ā€˜Kā€™ should mean stainless steel, and to work for thicker wire they would need to be 3.5mm in length.
It also makes a difference if the screws are for an authentic model vs a clone. They can surely be different.

The .4 is the thread pitch. US Standard expresses threads per inch. Metric uses thread pitch, which is the distance between threads. In this case, the distance between threads is .4 mm. I didnā€™t dig deeply, but I didnā€™t see 1/2 mm size differences, in length. They had 3, 4, 5mm, etc from my brief glimpse.

This site was recommended for replacement deck screws, and fill screws, for the Kayfuns (clones). One of the comments from the post, was that the stock deck screws have a slight bevel to the bottom of the screw head, making the wire tend to slip out. The screws from this vendor had flat bottom heads, making wire capture easier (at least single wire).

Next time I have the STM RBA out, Iā€™ll see if the Kayfun screws fit it, thread-wise.

Thanks, I understand, just not used to seeing it written that way.
They sell replacement screws for certain decks on e-bay and fasttech
which are specific to that tank, but also a drop down box for selection
of sizes. I just donā€™t have anything to measure this tiny.

You should look at Vaping Bikerā€™s vid on the Protank 4 before using the RBA

Iā€™m wondering if Kanger will change that. I was thinking about buying the Protank 4 and doing a little research when I saw this video.

Mass production at its finest

ā€¦and a mad rush to beat the deadline. Iā€™m sure weā€™ll see a lot of sub-standard products in the coming days.

Itā€™s a bit of a cock up by Kanger for sure. I was looking at reviews because I had every other pro-tank before it at some point
