Yep Stainless Steel. The button is copper so a little penny smell going on now and then, which is probably my biggest issue with mechs along with my compulsive polishing. I mainly use stainless and cerakote copper tubes these days but have a bunch of brass and copper tubes in my collection that I still polish up and use every now and then for special occasions
