Yes. It’s strange how the different shipping options take longer than others. I played quite a bit for shipping a Tauren mech tube. A few days later I ordered a stack extention tube for it using a cheap two dollar shipping option. The tube showed up about 5 days ago and the mod is in LA right now. It doesn’t pay off to get spendier shipping sometimes.
I made an order at Health Cabin and played $14 for shipping. I got an email the next day from a rep telling me to use standard shipping, or asking me rather. They said it’s best to blend in instead of trying to get through quick. They have got a lot of orders sent back to them with the spendy shipping option.
I have a couple of FT orders coming and have received 3 in the last week or so.
Personally I think China customs is just making a show to keep the peace. Doubt they’ll keep it up for long. Truthfully many many more packages get through than don’t. Yours is probably just held up in CA as well. It’s likely it’s our fault CA is so backed up due to panic orders coming to the US.
That’s always a tough answer with RDAs and RTAs. It really does depend on the build that’s in it, the juice that’s used etc. I prefer the draw and get better flavor from the Druga. It’s not unlike the battle between the Drop and the OG Dead Rabbit.
I prefered the Drop (it is still always in my rotation), not sure why as the flavor was similar, the deck was similar, I had no preference aesthetically between the two - I can only really put it down to the draw. I have pulled the Dead Rabbit out several times over the years (including the Drop Dead), but always go back to the Drop.
I know everyone raves about the Destiny - might have to pull it out and try to replicate the same build, use the same juice and go head to head!
I had an order from Greece hang out in Cincinnati for 7 whole days. I was ready to give up on that order but @muth gave me hope. She was right. It started moving yesterday and it was scanned in Omaha today. Hopefully it shows up tomorrow. If not, it’ll be here Monday probably.
I didn’t love that tank until I put a rather large build in it. I’ve been making multi-core staggered fused claptons. I threw one in there and haven’t put it down since. I like the draw just a bit more than the Druga. The Druga is more restrictive but I don’t really mind. I just build differently for that airflow.
Have always enjoyed when you post your builds I think it’s probably the restriction of the draw. I generally prefer a more restricted DL of my RTA’s. On my my mechs I only use wide open RDA’s (think Purge, Nightmares, Goons etc). Blasting a .09 to .11 build on a wide open RDA on your favorite mech tube is just about the most fun you can have with your pants on
Damn skippy. I got a set of .11Ω fraliens in my Goon 25 right now. I have that on a (black) copper Vindicator 21700. That thing rips like nothing else I use. Lots of clouds but also huge flavor. I love it.
That one was 3.5mm ID. I changed it out with a similar coil wrapped around a 3 mm jig. I thought I’d notice the draw open up a bit more but it feels the same.
I need to start messin’ with one of my Aromamizer Lites. I haven’t used one in a while but love em.
I can’t get any decent flavor out of my Destiny. It’s OK, but not what everyone raves about. I’ve tried 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, plain round, staggered fused, fused…very disappointed because I wanted to love it.
I took my chances and placed an order with FT last night. I told myself that I would not place a big order, yet I did it anyway. I was trying to group my items so the cost would match gift certificates with little left over. I planned to make two or three separate orders but I just couldn’t find a gift certificate/items combination that worked. I decided to stop wasting time and I just ordered all of it in one order.
When you get to the shipping options during check out, they highlight their recommended method. I choose theirs. I browsed their information to see if I could figure out why and I found that for the recommended method, the US express packet for my order, they pre-declare the items and bulk deliver a large quantity of parcels so they get through customs quicker.
They also recommend to read their section on “acceptable shipping methods” to ensure the method you choose is going to work. Some states and some countries can’t use certain methods. The country may not be the target destination but some services use flights that only connect to that country along the way and have to go through their customs before departure.
@jinx_d if you haven’t already read through that you might check it out and see if you might have a problem. I hope you don’t and that you get your stuff soon. I have waited three months for some orders, yet had some make it to me in three weeks. Same shipping methods (free). I’ve always suspected that when you place your order, if they just sent out a truck or container load of items you are in for a long wait as they have to take enough orders to fill the next truck and/or container before it departs. Conversely, your order might be with the last load to fill the container and your items start the journey right away. I’ve also heard there is a shortage of containers on their end since they ship out much more than they receive.

I had multiple gifts certificates of small amounts and one large one. What I did with my last order is apply all the small certificates first (you can add as many as you like) and paid the balance with the large certificate . This got rid of half a dozen small random amounts leaving me with just one certificate for $1.84.
this shit right here is real. and while what we all order is a drop in the barrel, no doubt some of it is on the bottom of the ocean. yet another problem we have.

i have about given up on it, i just can’t see the wire well, my magnifier hood gives me double vision.
but, i have some 2 core sfc in a Carnage deck with a Skull cap, and these work pretty well.
