The mongrel is very close to the recurve single, if you see one cheap pick it up.I like the glass cap as well it’s one of many on my squonks good all rounder

I have a mongrel and it’s quite good. I however, prefer the ED. Less heat, better in flavor (IMO), and less battery usage due to dual coils. I know many dislike the single coil RDAs and prefer the dual coil decks. If so, the the Mongrel is a great choice.

I tend to prefer dual, as I’m lazy. Though if the RDA is good, I can accept making a chunky coil to match it.

If you like duals, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy the Mongrel. It really is a fine RDA. Sturdy as f*** too (well, not if you get the glass topper).

I’ll test it out. The Asgard and Valhalla V2 Mini are my mains and a Drop 1.5 and a HellBeast for cocktails. With a Ragnar and a Goon for the rest. So, the Mongrel may be a new cocktail RDA.

Initially i have tasted them all and i will say that there isnt ine that is bad , they all taste like the fruit they are supposed to be . The one problem i did have is that the Cream Tobacco doesnt work so of that happens to a consumer that would suck …Ill give some more thought later on separate thread @Ken_O_Where yiu wanna start a Review/ opinion thread together so there isnt multiple threads same product ???

That’s mine as well but the last time I had it which was quite recently it didn’t taste the same and I was quite disappointed. I remember The O.B being really DAAPY like rich and thick but it’s like they have taken all of the good stuff out and replaced it with DAAP free flavours. If I recall correctly I mixed a clone by Michelle Hughes and it was the closest to the original that I have tried which is most of them, I had a tiny bit of input in that recipe by telling her that I could taste coconut in the original which she promptly added and it came out great. If I can find the recipe I will post the link to you.

Thats a bummer, so far it is my favorite. Reminds me of Butterscotch Graham Tobacco (LB). The rest are quite sweet, sweeter than i am used to but they aint bad at all, i see the appeal for new users. I still have 3 to try but ill wait until i finish the first three, i think.

I made one a few months ago and after the obligatory 4 week steep it tasted as usual to me. I have been finding that some concentrate suppliers re-bottled flavours seem to be different here which annoys me no end. I have had some that were quite different between 2 separate suppliers even though supposed to be the same flavour from the same flavour house.
Interesting, I did not get coconut at all from mine. Must be one of those “subjective taste” things.
Recipe would be good if you can find it. Hopefully will be a TOC recipe that doesn’t have Vanilla Pudding (FLV) in it! LOL.
