@muth Thanks. Long time lurker here, but thing’s like this really grind my gears and make me vocal.

No doubt we’re talking about the same, but no names, or I may mysteriously disappear overnight😬

do we have any new sites in the uk for flavours as all i am seeing is vape stores reducing the flavour concentrates

I assume the same thing will happen over there as happened here in Aus. Probable warnings/disclaimers on the websites saying food/beverage use only, but they are completely aware of what we use them for, even going as far as including a diy% use, but no mention of the big bad V word

Yeah But you can go to any gas station or 711 and buy like basically drugs but you can’t get concentrated food flavoring!
it steams me so bad you can have a crack shipped and ordered chipped and brought right to your front door but heaven forbid if you order a replacement glass for a tank’cause it definitely contains nicotine the whole system in the scheme of things I guess $8 for my tariff wasn’t that bad but it’s the principalities Smokey!
It reminds me of the smoke shop type thing that I worked at as a moonlight gig in between weekends when I wasn’t doing auto repair and if anybody mentioned the word bong or anything about weed we had to like basically send him out of the shop it was all in the lingo you couldn’t actually say it that everybody knew what it was used for

For all they know you could be making ice cream you know it’s ridiculous yeah I think I paid nine extra dollars maybe on top of the shipping but they’re the only ones who have like liquid barn and real flavors that I like like my top flavor type I can’t get over how good liquid barn vanilla ice cream is it’s so mouth watering to me Yum wonder flavors Vic is OK ,but LB MMMmmm!

@muth not sure if you’ve ever or used element vape not a flavoring thing but on the same type of topic they bang you for a Massachusetts excise tax but only for some things I can’t remember if it’s just for coils or just for devices remember I ordered a whole slew of coils and then the next couple days later I ordered some device materials and I can’t remember which one it was but I had to pay excise tax on it but not on the other one and they didn’t have an answer for why 75% or something like that it may have come down since then I always liked the element vape because the way they present their stuff it seems like reputable there’s no wonder why people buy stuff from China in unmarked packages basically mystery bags’cause it’s like an eighth of the price cut out the middleman

I have sent them a message to ask if the prices will be affected on their website after October 1st

Will post back their reply

flavourCraver.co.uk is just flavors (no Nic or vape gear). They also have sister site with nicotine
e-juice products, forget the name of the site, but it’s the smart thing to do if you want to stay in the flavor concentrate game and avoid the vape tax (for food flavorings)…

Barry at thealcemistcupboard.co.uk is also working on a new site for flavor concentrates

just ordered from alcemistcupboard few days ago too

got 3 bottles of 100ml nic (72mg) pg in amber glass bottles in the freezer

will continue to get lubisolve vg and pg from amazon in the future so hopefully should be ok in the uk

not looking forward to in the future ordering nicotine though thats gonna become very pricey i reckon :frowning:

in canada your taxed by MG of nicotine as well as an excise tax
so the tax % increases with MG strength

so 100mg of pg nic would have something like 120% tax on it IIRC
costs more than double now and mostly tax.

and the max i see stores selling is 20mg which
would create freeZer space issues real quick

Yeh, I spoke to a nice lady from king flavours when asked them the question a month ago to them. She said they have two websites, one that focuses on vape and the other one is solely a flavouring websites, because of that they shouldn’t be affected.

Yeh, I’m stocking up. I usually get my Nic from NicHub, I did ask them if this vape tax will affect their prices, they replied to me saying they expect everything should run as normal, but I find that hard to believe. I"m going to buy a 10L jug of Nic from them soon and separate it in to separate 250/100ML amber bottles to freeze, hopefully I should be good for nicotine for a long while after that. £500 its gonna cost me, which is a big dent in my pocket, but should hopefully be worth it for the future.

Yes, I remember that because I ran across the same issue. I had to split or remove something from my order to avoid the vape tax. They said that any product that fell under the category of a closed system or complete kit, for example, got taxed. So I ordered a mod only then picked an RTA of my choice and there was no vape (excise) tax. Either way it leads to the same thing, vaping. So stupid.

@muth well that explains a lot! I called and asked him why I just ordered coils and no excise tax and then a few days lat a kit I think it was the pulse 1.5 aio. mod l
