Luckily I haven’t had a bad vendor experience yet, but I’ve seen a few comments about terrible vendors. I’ve had good luck so far and would like to keep it that way. If you’ve had serious problems or even been ripped off, Please share your experience so we know which vendors to avoid.
Been vaping for a few years and havent had a bad experience yet. Although i got into DIY very early on. The one time i had an issue, it was with a MBV flavoring, they begged me to let them fix it but by then my DIY needs outgrew what they had to offer so i politely declined, several times.
Fasttech - slow, slow and SLOW. Great prices, but sometimes the merchandise isn’t what you expected. Customer service responds quickly, mostly with reassurances that “it’ll be in stock soon”, but you could wait up to two months for an order to arrive. If you don’t mind the wait, then take advantage of the savings. As for the merchandise, “let the buyer beware”.
Rules for FT, only order if in stock or you are willing to wait and dont order batteries. Also, use epacket shipping. I have a half dozen pics ive posted on Reddit showing my wait times, from order to arrival in Wisconsin i have never waited more than 2 weeks and the record for quickest delivery, to my house, has been 7 days.
Never order without reading reviews and discussions. So far i have loved every purchase, i have around 60 items ive ordered, except for the Fogger V2, what a piece of crap that was.
Hope your future purchases go a little better!
What is epacket shipping? I’ve seen tons of great deals on FT, but I was afraid to order from China because of the extended wait times.
They shove your order into a bubble package and put it on a plane. The orders ship to the US in appx 3 days and the biggest holdup for me has be Chicago customs. Here is a thread where i posted a few screen caps. Just dont order batteries, they ship via boat and can take months tho i heard that is changing quickly. I have appx 15 mods from FT and 17 or 18 attys as well as the stuff i have ordered for family members. Got some great cheap aluminum atty stands too. Really got to watch what you order tho, make sure you follow my rules. I compiled these rules together after reading several dozen negative FT posts on Reddit. So far so good. The one issue i had they quickly resolved by offering me a credit or refund, i chose credit and ordered 4 more Igo-W’s. The discussions are key purchasing and “in stock” or “ships next day”.
At Christmas i ordered a Dovpo GX-200 for my wife, it said 7 days. When the 7 days came and went it said 7 days again. Those 7 days came and went and 3 days later it finally shipped. It didnt make it in time for the holidays but when it did arrive she loved it. It was one of the few times i broke my rules.
Sometimes, with new products, they will post it as 7 days but in reality they are waiting to receive enough orders to order the product from the manufacturer. Fasttech doesnt make the products, they are a distribution outlet for Chinese vendors.
I have to get to bed but feel free to ask me anything about FT, if i can ill answer them as soon as i get in tomorrow or later today that is, hehe. I am always happy to help in anyway that i can.
Thanx alot. Now I know what to do I feel more comfortable.
The trick to fasttech for me is just ordering and forgetting about it. That way you get unexpected gifts dropping in every now and then I kind of enjoy it. I order stuff I think would be nice to have. Never anything I want quickly. If I decide I want to try a specific RDA and want it fast, I order it from a local(ish) webshop…
Same boat, order and forget about it
Focalecig is much faster I’ve order about 8 things and they’re about 3 to 4 days faster than the dozen or so things I’ve gotten from fasttech also angelcigs is wicked fast all items ship from a cali wharehouse and it’s only been about 4to5 to Boston!!!
Fasttech if your not in a rush, local B&M if you need it now…
The longest I have had with FT is 24 days, this was with free shipping. The quickest I have had is 6 days with an epacket for an extra 2-3 bucks (most take about 10-12 days). From China to Alberta, Canada… The main delay is clearing Canadian customs.
Just don’t** order anything now due to Chinese Newyear, Feb.16th thru the 25th.! strong text**
That’s funny you say that. Early in my DIY, I ordered Dr Pepper flavoring from them (along with 9 other flavorings) and it was awful. By awful, I mean that It tasted like they put lavender flavoring in the bottle instead of Dr. Pepper. When I emailed them about it, they told me that I needed to steep Dr. Pepper in order for it to taste right. I then proceeded to tell them that what they sent was not Dr. Pepper, but labeled ‘Dr. Pepper’. They kindly told me to suck it up and offered nothing for my troubles. Needles to say, I’ve never ordered from them since.
Agreed… Very slow, but cheap Just realize everything from fasttech is coming out of China, and most the time it is shipped via boat…
As far as RDA/RBA and mods, I prefer not to order clones from China. Might sound like I’m on some bandwagon, but I believe in supporting these guys out there designing and selling their creations. To each his own though
Canadian customs just assessed me 220$ for 150$ worth of flavor from ecx, my package of FA flavor from nicotine rivers is being held, my package from Poland e aroma shop, all inw flavor was assessed 32$. Have you had any issues this way?
I ordered a Cthulhu from the U.S. And they tacked on a 25 $ customs tax on top of the 35 American and 12 dollar shipping . They now sell on FT for like 14 bucks free shipping …piss off …lesson learned
