Vodka/PGA = throat hit?

Hello vapers and vapereses :slightly_smiling:

I’ve never used Vodka/PGA in my recipes and read in one comment, that it can create a throat hit effect, is that right? … I make low pg liquids and reduced nic to 3 mg and I miss the throat hit effect…
If Vodka/PGA does the trick, I would be interested to know how to use it it my recipes - what would be the % of it?
Usually, I’m making 10% - 16% flavor…

Thanks for your help!

I’ve heard it works, but never used it myself. I don’t care for throat hit personally.

You should probably notice something at 1% or even less, but one bit of warning if you’re under 21 in a zero tolerance state it could show up as a blip on a breathalyzer. Not enough to be over the limit in any other circumstance, but just enough for to give an overzealous patrolman some ammo if you’re under 21.

Trust me on this 1
I´ve been tested on the BIG Alcohol Breath Analyzer (takes up the room as in the back of an Van)
Nothing came up there and I use apx. 4% Vodka in my mix. (Even the Drug Cocker Spaniel sniffing dog, didn´t care about it)

I’ve used 4-5% vodka in my base for a long time as well - It’s been a while since I did that though; I’m happy without it now

It shouldn’t show up on a legit test. It might show false positive on a smaller, cheaper test.

It shouldn’t happen, but people say it has happened to them so take that for whatever you want.

eeemmmm, the question was - DOES alcohol gives a throat hit :)))))

i don’t really care about tests … i miss the throat hit, but don’t like high PG juices …

i’ve lowered pg and nic and was left without TH … any solutions?

It does help a bit - but there are other additives you could use for TH - Flash (FA) does throat hit, and there are others as well… I think there is something on the Master Mixer’s page on ELR :slightly_smiling:
