Hope I haven’t talked it up too much, but it’s been a while since a RTA has impressed me so much.
@SessionDrummer and all those peeps that like the voltrove Ordered Sunday paid for Monday coming Tuesday sorted and thanks to Royal Vapes proper shop
Coil Clout is OUT OF STOCK.
Probably the most work they have done in over a month.
@Grabbo Joe is a really good guy, and I’m glad he took care of you. Can’t wait to hear what YOU think about it too.
I just picked up another one from Coil Clout, if you are ON the fence, pick one up now, everything is 20% OFF using code: ALLBUTCOILS20
I didn’t care about the coils, but I did pick up (10) Alien Wire Sticks, WITH the 20% OFF.
Don’t want to spend the money on another RTA right now. Went to CC to look at the coils. Got bored today and made some framed staples up. Not too different from Clapton’s except for flat wire. Ohms out at 0.1. All SS. Chucks clouds at 60 watts but I think I’m going to stick with my 0.2 Clapton’s.
I wish I had the time to learn how to make those @rcleven. How hard are the framed to make ?
Really simple as long as you have the wire. Been looking at Utube videos and after getting recommendations on wire and size I said I can do that. If you can do fused you can do the staples.
loved the review … covers everything, with visuals and experiences and all. As if it was me testing the tank - well done @SessionDrummer !!
2 things to note:
1 - at $75, the price is a bit on the high end (relative to similar RTA’s)
2 - no 510 drip-tip converter? no guides, no coils in the package … hmmm
beside these, the review made me want to definitely get my hands on one … but we’ll see
thanks again
Thank you very much @TheFlavorSeeker. I DID put some thought into the “higher than normal” pricing on it, and I think the answer is cost/quality. The fact that Mark chose SS for the body adds cost right there, the high quality o-rings, and grubs, minimal, but cost added, and the mirrored/tinted (doesn’t peel, because it’s NOT a sticker) adds cost as well. Most times the Voltrove’s do seem to be slightly higher priced than a “Mass Production” piece, but once I felt the weight of it, saw/felt the o-rings/grubs in use, I not only had no reservations not only recommending it, but buying a second one.
Points well made, and I can only hope if you DO take the plunge, that you report back YOUR thoughts on it.
For anyone who likes to get spare glass for their rtas i talked jonathon and he is reaching out to mgfr… Ill let anyone know when i do.
Just got email and he ordered 5 of each color to start . I am taking the clear i think bc the other ones will be easier for him to sell.
3 colors i guess
Well ya…Lol
Does anyone else notice a restrictive airflow even when wide open? it isn’t awful or even bad, it’s just for lack of a better word, restrictive, more so than what I would expect when airflow is wide open.
Single or duel coil
duel, 3 ID
@TimWV Dual vs. Single may change it a bit, but not hugely. Even open to full bore, with a single 3.0mm coil, there is SOME restriction. It’s not a lot, but there is a slight bit. This clearly helps out in the flavor saturation.
Alright here we go…
First thought…Damn this is a noisy tank , it reminds me having a window cracked whike driving down the freeway lol
Hmmmm, @fidalgo_vapes, I felt it was “average” on noise, no whistling or anything overt, just air rush. Maybe turn DOWN your hearing aids !!!
Well enough about THAT, what coil(s) did you choose, and how’s the flava ?? !!!
Ya no whistling …The air rush is louder than any other tank i use thougb for sure.
Flavor is good on par with the OG arbiter , i used N80 fused fraliens 2.5mm ID . While the tinted tank is cool i would rather have clear glass. The quality of the tank overall is top notch.
Before being 100pct sure of my thoughts i need to run a few tankful of liqukd through this tank . I think when the arbiter came out it was 50$ this tank is listed at 90$ as far as flavor or overall vape experiance the difference in price is not warranted. The price differwnce might be due to materials used and the quaity of the machining.
While this might soumd negtive i am very happy with the tank and ill be satisfied grabbing it to tae for the day
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE MIND AFTER USING THIS …i have used the arbiter for a long time and RTAs sometimes take time to find the sweet spot
