Which manufacturer?
AWS LB-501 SCALE Or
Etekcity Digital Pocket Jewelry Scale,500g x 0.01g
Or other?

Did it just die? How long did you have it and was it normally taken care of? Warranty?
Sorry to hear about it. Hang in there.

Silly question, but did you try replacing the batteries? Mine (Etekcity) was on the fritz and I replaced the batteries with some good energizer rechargeables. Solved the problem.

It’s a no name scale. Oh wait it says made in china lol. It had a 30 day warranty. I had it 31 days. Lol. My luck. I got it off ebay. It was cheap. Like $16.
And @jojo. I tried new batteries. No luck.
I don’t know. There is so many out there. I need to find a good one. When i looked at it. It showed it would go from 0.01 to 500g. But it only was 0.1. It never seems to work right from the start. Im looking at this one now. Like $18

Pretty decent little scale. Had mine for months now on the orig. batteries and it’s still going strong.

I have had my eye on that no name scale.
Well I can cross this one off of my possible future purchases.

My Chinese made scale crapped out on me about a month ago. I shopped around for a US made scale and I found this one with a 10 year warranty. It also had very good reviews.

How do you like it so far?

It works good. I check the calibration before every mix session. Besides my initial calibration, I haven’t had to calibrate it since. I use to have to calibrate my old scale at almost every mix sesion.

does it have auto shut off? or can you set that? is it battery only? or can i plug that in?

It shuts off at 3 minutes of inactivity. I haven’t tried to adjust it beyond that. It works a lot like most. I like the warranty and that it holds calibration much better than my first scale. Yep it’s battery only… 3 AA batteries.
