There’s one thing that can’t be replaced during the Holidays, and that’s Christmas Chili !!!
Having the family. Stuffed Shells Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan cheese covered with moms homemade gravy. A yearly Christmas Eve meal. Homemade Italian Beef sandwiches for the main.
Now we are talking a language I understand. Love me some chorizo.
That looks delicious!
I’m making lasagna…and I was going to put it together tonight to save time tomorrow, but I went riding instead lol Also, baked Brie with honey and almonds, garlic bread and grilled asparagus. Custard pie and pecan pie for dessert. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
me not cooking today
We usually do Lasagna for Christmas but going with the stuffed shells this year like @rcleven
For the xmas eve meal I made my famous French Meat Pie!
behold… the greek god diabetes
No pics but just finished making ham, bean, split pea, veggie soup. Turned out delicious. Next thing is going to be a “just the inside of an egg roll” dish using cabbage coleslaw mix, pork, onion, mustard and soy sauce. Maybe add some chili flakes or hot sauce to spice it up. It is my first time trying something like this.
I had a ham sandwich for Christmas lunch… does that count?
Same
Salad everyday when the weather’s above 40 c (104f) though!
