I was about 11 years old when I heard this on AM radio (that’s all we had back then) and I was completely stunned and mesmerised by what I was listening to. Pretty awe-inspiring for a little kid. Finally I had come of age (ha-ha) I realised years later that my 11yo soul had been awakened by these funky, cool vibes and I still love this song to this day. Peace!
