Agreed @Mew. Even WITH COVID-19 and all it has and will bring, 2020, has been a CRAP ASS year so far.
My first memory of Rock n Roll was The Beetles. Mom had a 45 of Hey Jude and I think the flip side was Revolution. (right now smiling because I know there are some thinking what is a 45, and what is a flip side?) Oh the joys of getting older and wiser.
Back in the day, Hey Jude was not really hard rock, but it wasnât soft eitherâŚor bubblegum rock, if youâre old enough to get that reference. No, it was a great mix of the two really, and the vocals at the end cemented the notion that yes, weâre in the rock era.
As much as I loved this first rock song, I have to say that Leo Morachhioli has done itâŚuhâŚbetter? No, but it stands on its own as a great song. And those riffs!
Just listened to the whole album. FIRE!!!
Amen to that! Every time I have some cool stuff playing on the stereo,my wife asks," @Mew ?" 99 times out of 100 Iâm nodding yes!
