not so much a performance but a tribute to one of the greatest session musicians of all time, carol kaye.
Everyone wouldve heard her many times from her session work with many famous artists, to her work on tv and movie soundtracks.
if you have the time watch this, its a masterclass of bass
Take a bow carol, one cool lady

some of her work with cocker

What a great drum solo by Bonham. Thanks for posting.
Here’s another I always enjoy watching. Santana’s drummer, Michael Shrieve @ Woodstock. One of the youngest performers there and looks to be playing on his high school drum set that his parents bought him. xD
(He had his trip under control)

Original band 47 years later.

the pleasure was all mine bro
it will always be a very subjective personal thing but bonzo was the best for me, IMO better than peart, moon, baker, paice, grohl, copeland, starr, rich etc etc etc (just way to many to list)
Bonham did more with less and was just so powerful

Yeah thats a rocking solo from Shreive, similar in that he didnt have a lot but still produced a mighty sound.
Always thought this carl palmer solo was shit hot

The closest I’ve gotten to seeing John Bonham live was seeing his son Jason with the Led Zeppelin Experience.

Bonzo continues to influence generation’s. Check out this 8 year old.
