Wanna hear the tune of the year for me?
I’m listening rn!
Omg this is dirty!! I’m a od.school raver from 1990’s. I haven’t been I’m years! I can’t wait to get back into it atleast for a few more years! Alright alright il fix my video
Right? Gun fingers the whole time
Yeah, I discovered Drum and Bass in the 90s with Roni Size’s Brown Paper Bag… Tune got me heavy into Jungle/Drum and Bass at a young age… Even got into DJing when I was 16, fell on hard times and sold my vinyl collection and turntables though about 6 years ago… Regret it
Remember before it all went digital??? This is part of my bf’s set up.
Those are his vinyl from way back. The gems in there are endless!
Of course, I’ve had controllers and what not but it doesn’t feel the same as a piece of wax underneath your fingers…
Here’s my first ever DJ PR a girl I was dating made for me at the time, moved to GP and figured I made it big until I realized that Utopia, the only club in GP was owned by 2 gay guys… Had a well known doctor in town try and kiss 20 year old self before I was going to play, it freaked me the fuck out so I grabbed my records and left. Only ever returned to get E… Haha
The first time I heard Stevie Nicks, she was with Lindsey Buckingham and they were called “Buckingham Nicks”. I remember playing cuts off their album on the radio in 1972 or 1973. Dang…I’m old.
Those aren’t even the same anymore…not even close
Yes It’s my tattoo, I actually got this on me for life
Haha, that’s great… Yeah, had my fair share of good pills in my early 20s but got carried away… Red Mitsubishi, White Doves, Blue Stars were probably some of my favourites… Can remember some of the experiences like it was yesterday and that’s good enough for me, mentally I’m not well enough for another experience but I sure would like to experience it again, best feeling on earth.
To keep it a bit on topic and not derail this was one of the tunes I remember when I first tripped… Melted my brain it did
As it’s All Saints’ Day; I better play something traditional.
Great song by a great group with a great front man. I think Lou Gramm has one of the best voices in rock. I feel the same way about Paul Rodgers (whose nickname in the biz is “the voice”).
