Now that @woftam let me know this was a REDO, I’m def. going to watch the original after we finish this. Thus far, it is a strangely interesting series. Can’t seem to stop watching it. Never know what’s going to happen next LOL. Pretty impressed thus far.
I loved Money Heist. Really enjoyed it.
I’m currently on Breaking Bad. Never watched it because everybody was talking about it and I got sick and tired of hearing about it. So much so I didn’t want to watch it anymore.
I’m rather quick with this one actually, it took me 20 years to finally get around to the Sopranos
Brilliant series btw
My wife tells me the original is British
Watched it all in 2 days… better be a second series!
Watching the Utopia remake, episode 3 so far…
Well… it’s fascinating and different from the usual recent TV stuff. I like their choice of actors so it’s really not bad. And here’s the BUT: it totally fails to create this dark, helpless, dystopian atmosphere. And the killers are much less scary than original raisin boy and Lee.
So really no bashing here but I prefer the 2013 version so far.
Well, just finished season 2 of “The Boys” on Amazon Prime… Wow!
peep show is not a new show but a great one, with a very unique style.
Also “David Attenborough, a life on our planet” by netflix is IMHO a sobering masterpiece on climate change in general but also unnatural climate change cause by human activity which should be watched by those living on this planet. it is the most accessible documentary on climate change.
Also if you have not yet watched black mirror, do yourself a favour and watch it. especially the episode “playtest” will make you question your whole being. (each episode is a new story)
Could not agree more …
If you like black mirror, I think you will also like “Upgrade” (a movie), “Humans” (tv show) and “Her” (a movie). all are AI/Robotic related movies who seem like have been written by people who have done their homework on AI and its potential implications, rather than just a run of the mill cash grab Hollywood sh*t.
Also “the imitation game” is a brilliant movie about the life of Alan Turing (a sad one at that), the father of theoretical computer science and to some extent AI, who was one of the reasons WW2 turned out the way it did (with the help of his team).
@Ashkan, you clearly know my wheelhouse. We’ve already seen both Upgrade and Humans (which was beyond excellent), but Her, I’ve not seen. Thank you.
No problem at all. hope you enjoy the other ones.
That was quite good…
Happy dance time!
