There is some really good stuff coming out of Korea. Unfortunately, I have to watch dubbed versions. I lose a lot in paying attention to the subtitles.

Korea is definetely on another level with content. I tried dubbed versions and the voices were more of a distraction to me  I have to stick with the original audio.

Also coming in peace. Gotta say that in Denver, the Redwings/Avs rivalry was outstanding. Made for some GREAT hockey and passionate feelings from both sides. It was as good as the Broncos/Raiders or Broncos/Chiefs rivalries of days past.

Go Avs !! Also, I counted the Lightning out after being down to the Rangers 0-2, but they are right back in it. No matter which team wins the East, it will be an outstanding Stanley Cup final.

I’m with you. I go for the subtitles and leave the original audio.

I just discovered Kdubs and I’ve only seen two series. I tried the subtitles for “We are all Dead” but I could keep up and found that I was missing all the video. At that point why not just read a book? I thought the English dubbing was done very well and I very much enjoyed it. My wife can’t stand the dubbing so Kdubs are on my personal watch list. Too bad as we really enjoy watching things together and almost always enjoy the same shows. The other one I watched is “Hellbound”. I enjoyed it too but have to wait out the season break.

I was impressed with We Are All Dead. Really liked it. Kingdom and it’s stand alone movie Ashin of the North were really good too. Give 'em a look if you haven’t already.

Definitely agree :+1: both fantastic series.

Thanks, I already noticed Kingdom and it sounds very interesting. It’s been n the queue. I didn’t know about Ashin though. Thanks :+1:

I had to stop and think what it would be like to be a Zombie extra for a production like “All of us are dead”. That’s a lot of people!! I mean Zombies :zombie:

I’ve been watching “Squid game”. Almost made me cry at the end of S1E6. I’ve been enjoying it a lot.

Netflix announced a second season is coming…even though the creator said he didnt think he would ever make another since it took a lot for season 1 to be made. But the love for that show got him to say yes…woo-hoo :raised_hands:.

Also, Netflix is coming out with a squid game competition show. Real contestants…no deaths  Check out the prize amount :astonished:

We watched that documentary. That was really good. That whole deal really sucks and to think it could have been a whole lot worse! It paints a great picture on why we should think things out on our own rather than rely solely on the word of authorities. When you hear conflicting information err on the side of caution. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission was more concerned about the future of Nuclear Power than the safety of the communities. What a shit show that whole thing turned out to be! It’s no wonder why conspiracy theories have taken such root and multiply as they have. Such a shame. If only greed and shame shared the same space.

Absolutely, always follow the money and it will shed light on how the “experts” oft times put money over safety.

A truly brilliant thought.

Just finished watching a documentary about Harry Chapin. I remember seeing him in concert in Madison, WI and it was a great show. He had a way to make things feel personal, talked about how he came up with some of his songs and made the audience feel like part of the show. Though is was a master story teller, he was also committed to causes like hunger, poverty and homelessness.

We just got a new TV and soundbar :see_no_evil: :hear_no_evil:

We started on the new Dr. Strange and we felt lost, like we were missing some background. My wife did some net searching and found we should watch two other movies first.

Fun movies, i watched both last night again. The new Spider-Man also has some tie ins as does the Wanda show.
