Apple TV is worth getting. Not a ton of content but 80% is great TV. Silo, Ted Lasso, Foundation, Morning Show, Mythic Quest… Good stuff.
That one was much better than I thought it would be. Great performances, great directing. Stick is really fun/good. Murderbot has me coming back for more too.
We were kinda 50/50 on stick, not sure why. Only half an episode into MurderBot so far.
I started watching this. First episode, seems decent. Loved the OG
Been afraid to get into this one. I loved the OG series so much, I don’t want to be disappointed if it’s just a cash-in.
It’s good! It’s how he started. Like from teenage years. Like a prequel. I’m enjoying it.
@Lynda_Marie @Lostmarbles how can you watch serial killer shows? I just watched A Star is Born with Bradley Cooper and Gaga and I’m still upset. Seeing his dog laying outside the garage door for him while he’s hanging himself threw me over the edge. I did not need to see this tonight
I’ve been watching horror since I was a kid, like 10. The exorcist was my first and then the Omen. Weird though, ever since I lost Buddah, I’ve had a hard time with it. I their rewatching Rob Zombies Halloween remake and I couldn’t make it through. Dexter is just hysterical, I love a funny psycho :).
Oh, I really don’t know much about the series. Didn’t know that and should probably hold judgement.
Still one of my favorite pastimes: Watching reactors pick their jaw off the floor when seeing a The Warning concert video
I can’t watch psychological horror or anything involving endangering animals. Demons, vampires, toxic waste mutants, no problem. I remember seeing The Haunting on Creature Features as a 9 year old kid and finding the fear to be a big rush. Been hooked ever since then.
As @Lynda_Marie mentioned, Dexter isn’t scary. His victims aren’t innocent. it’s funny and fun (I realize that sounds weird), and I’d recommend checking it out.
While I suppose saying it’s funny isn’t nice because killing isn’t funny, but the way it plays out…he kills people that kill innocent people.
Have you ever watched 7?
oh yeah. I was damaged for a bit after that one
excellent movie though
I never saw that one! I’m surprised I missed it.
omg, yes! Me too
I really enjoyed For All Mankind.
