Part of my recovery was a determination to start reading more. I went through all the Agatha Christie novels for starters.

If you enjoy British detectives, check out Val McDermid’s “Wire in the Blood” series. The main character is Dr. Tony Hill and he consults with the police. Loved the TV series and truly enjoyed the books.

Huge let down. All other Viking series were watchable, but this is typical late Hollywood. Annoying to watch after great Peaky Blinders series. 3/10, not recommended.

Most often IMDB ratings are a good info; not this time. T-e-r-r-i-b-l-e. 80% of reviewers most have been preteen kids. i was forced to watch the whole first episode and i wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. Rating 2/10 just because i know it can go even lower (despite that i haven’t seen anything worse probably in last 15 years).

Thx for the heads up. If you want to watch Kung Fu lady she has more shorts. She is quite mesmerizing but I couldn’t stop thinking of getting hit upside the head with one of those sticks, lol.

The good points greatly outweigh the bad. If you pay no attention to the Tolkien fanbois, you’ll love it.
