Well @Rocky02852’s ecard almost made me choke on my glögg this morning. Although, I think hearing during Today that Sandy Toksvig’s Hygge is back for a second series brought on a more enveloping cosiness. There will be 5 episodes from Monday to Friday next week.

Here’s the link to Episode 1. It will be available to listen to on BBC Sounds around 7pm (GMT) on Monday (6:15pm for the Radio 4 listener).

For those who don’t know it, here’s the first series - It’ll also explain what hygge is.

Oh, BBC Sounds does not require having paid the Licence Fee.

This seems like a bit of a non-story: Most organised religions have established positions on alien life. I’m sure the Vatican would mention that they’ve been considering this matter for over 400 years. Although, it might be an idea to avoid mentioning the rings of Saturn and Jesus’ foreskin to them - they hope that all forget that.

The World This Weekend brought many memories back when they detailed the life of The Arch and Uri Geller opening a museum. I was giggling to myself while walking in the park as I remembered a mad backstage chat with him 17 years ago.

Having to manipulate 111 images for a review, can be a daunting, repetitive task, BUT thanks to Adobe, you can STILL batch process, even in Elements !!!

So the workflow is still top notch? I must admit to not using them after they went down the subscription road. So happily Gimping along.

Yes, across all of their product lines.

I still have my full suite on my W7 machine, but sometimes I have to crush something out on the W10 lappie. Elements is NO Photoshop, but the basics are still there.

Gimp is damned fine, especially for Open Source.

Saw this today and it made me laugh out loud.

My father showed me a 30 minute PowerPoint presentation on why I should always wear a condom during sex.

Every slide was a picture of me.

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.’ The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.’ The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door. Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you. I’m doing community service this week.’ The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Parliament lined up waiting for a free haircut. And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it
