Very sad that Taylor Hawkins passed, but it made me smile, when reminded of the connection he had with his fans, including 9 year old aspiring drummers …

Our 3 legged cat, named Easel, taking a break in the top bunk of the cat tree.
She might be missing her right rear wheel, but man this cat can fly. I call her Easel, the jet powered weasel.

WOW !!! That pic is worth framing. Great shot. Love the expression on her face.

I was thinking the same thing. She looks like she’s thinking:
“I’m a cat, you’re a human. Make me a sammich.”

Easel was one of our daughter’s 4 cats. One on Prozac, two blind cats, and Easel. My daughter is a vet tech, and has a soft spot for animals with issues that may not stand a good chance of being adopted. Then she adopted a Pit Bull that was neglected. He’s a real sweetheart. Easel was getting stressed with the dog’s energy, so we took Easel in about 2 months ago. She’s acclimating to her new digs.

The blind cats don’t care about the dog. They just think he’s a big cat with bad breath, that farts a lot. Plus, he’s warm, so they can snuggle up next to him.
