Yep…Go Av’s for this Denver guy. However, the past 2 games they have been outplayed by a bunch. The SOG differential is incredible. I’m hoping home ice makes a difference.
And my smile for the day is being able to provide in-person Peer Support today at one of the locations we serve. Gotta say, it felt good…much better than Zoom. My two folks who provide the support really enjoyed being back in-person. I think the folks we serve appreciated it, which is the BIG win.

What’s the difference between a dog and a wife? You can lock your dog in the trunk of your car for six hours and when you open it, she’s happy to see you.
and watch the diet. i need to get up off my ass, FoSho. but i am planning a home improvement project = the middle of my house has 2 posts holding it up. they have seen better days and the footings never were good. so my plan is to jack the house up in the middle and put new concrete footings.
may i advise looking into keto. if you like salads, put salsa on lettuce with some cheeze(check keto). but yes, less is always good.
weights = don’t have to buy them. use your own weight, do squats, situps, pushups, etc . start of with 1, yes, just 1. then later, do another 1. keep doing that, then move up to 2. within 2 months you could be up to 50.
there was a time i did them every workday morning. i got up to 175’ish “real” pushups, and 150 “real” situps.
Unfortunately I’m at 270 lbs and I’m certainly not “pushing up” my own weight at this time lol!
I appreciate the advice, though.
About 7 or 8 years ago I did the same thing I’m doing now to lose 50 lbs in about 4 months, I think. I got to where I was able to do 100 situps in 2 minutes! I was only 200 lbs then and it WAS almost 10 years ago but the method and concept should work. It worked when I joined the Navy, too, lol.
Again, I DO appreciate the advice. I’ve looked into the whole keto thing and it’s just not for me or the family. Kids need carbs. It’s not good for them to be deprived of them, you know? I read several studies on it.
We HAVE cut BACK on carbs but it’s sort of an essential part of a kid’s diet. We only eat whole grain or multi grain, though. Even homemade stuff is made with whole grain, unbleached, unbromated flour. Only our pasta (rarely eaten) is not whole wheat. Just can’t stand the grittiness of whole wheat pasta…
The salad thing is a good suggestion, I myself, I prefer lemon juice and cottage cheese.
