Dropped my mod this morning(Thanks, nerve damage!) on our concrete patio. It went atty first. I didn’t want to look, knowing that I didn’t have glass to spare for my beloved A.S. V2.
I braved a look, ready with a string of swears to greet the morning. Lo and behold, no cracks, breaks or dents! I’m stunned, but I’m not going to question my luck. HUZZAH!
They’re certainly going for the throne of hynpo-cat.
It’s great when luck is on our side. So glad to hear nothing broke. And I get the nerve damage frustration. Had both hands operated on (not at the same time, about 6 months apart). Luckily, both surgeries went well and 13 years later, my hands still work fine. For that, I am grateful.
No @SessionDrummer she is a long hair tabby. She does look quite a bit like a Maine Coon though.
I suspect that if one were to do a poll they’d find that lots of mods get dropped without serious damage. Lord knows, I’ve done it plenty of times. It’s the ones that go snap, crack and pop that we remember the most.

Well let’s just say, things have SUCKED in 2021 (don’t get me started), AND, (with COVID not withstanding), one of the SUCKIEST parts has been the pool closing. Sadness, and despair…
Now, about the ONLY thing that could take the SUCK out of it, was CATS, and BBQ !!!
And, don’t forget the dos jalepenos cornbread …
