Yeah, I’ve been watching her for a while @robrrt1, and she’s got mad odd time chops, no doubt. It’s kind of a bitter pill to swallow as I’ve been with them since 1974. Ged and Alex were set on never touring again without Neil, and I get that they couldn’t fight off the “itch”. It’s bittersweet for me for sure. She wouldn’t want to, nor would anyone ask her to just play note for note, because that wouldn’t be fair, but, how do you show respect, and honor Neil if you don’t ?? Walking on the razor’s edge for sure.

If the boys have faith in her, then I’m on board. I agree in the hope that it isn’t some ultimate Rush tribute band tour where everyone expects her to play it all note for note. Like when Jason stepped in for dad at the Zeppelin O2 concert - he did his own thing and, in some ways, he outshined the old geezers on stage with him

Noise, movement, foot stomping - nothing I did would make this little bastard move. Finally had to grab it by the butt and toss it to the side so that I wouldn’t make a squishy mess when I left

You know what @robrrt1 I was always the kind of drummer that when waiting in between takes, I would pick up whatever bass or guitar that was handy. I used to play with two brothers, diehard Rush nuts (and other music), and the bass player brother had a Rickenbacker 4001. Talk about PUNCHY. I think he played through only Ampeg, with cabs full of 10" speakers and maybe a 15". I didn’t know what I was doing, but it was A La Punchy.

@robrrt1 one of, if not THE best roach coach I ever frequented, was the one and only one at Goddard Space Flight Center Greenbelt, MD.
