WHAT Has Made You Smile Today? (III)

And the good weather made me smile today)))

You must be somewhere else. It’s looking pretty grey here.
That will mean another empty park just for the dog and myself. Every disadvantage has an advantage.
It looks like a pretty good start of the Good Friday.

What makes me smile even more is that my morning started in the afternoon. There’s no better way to get through a grey morning than asleep.

Sadly the giant sky ball is in full effect here in Blighty. As such, I’ll need to cover up and add sun cream to avoid bursting into flames.

Though, what do you expect from a low-brow university:

I have no problem with the giant sky ball, quite the opposite. It’s the people that come out with it that bother me.
When the weather perks up I will have to switch back to my summer rhythm and get up at the crack of dawn to beat the crowd.

That will give me hours of leisure time early in the day, hanging in a hammock in the garden reading books.
Preferably in the full blaze of the giant sky ball.

I love my life!

You’re lucky to be able to enjoy it. I am infamous for my ability to get sunburnt in a few minutes when sitting under a tree, while wearing a hat and sunscreen.

Are you cursed with ginger-ness? I don’t even know if that’s a word.

Nope, just lacking the ability to generate much melanin.

I don’t think BlackRock is amused with all this attention
They have managed to stay pretty invisible so far.

Is Rumble just a platform for the factually adverse? It claims that Blackrock is under seige but I cannot see any evidence of Steven Seagal being there.

Seems rather dubious to me.

Blackrock could buy Paris. Don’t think they are worried about anything Pairs can throw at them. I very much doubt they are making donations to people asking for money. Seems to me this has nothing to do with Blackrock and more about support and solicitations

I think BlackRock already owns Paris and the rest of the world. It’s not about money, it’s about publicity. They don 't want any.
It’s the people behind the company they are after.
They have everything to do with everything.

BlackRock and Vanguard, the investment companies the ultra rich hide behind to buy up everything so they can lord it over anybody else and give people the illusion they have free choice.
Off with their heads is what I say. These bastards have fucked us over long enough.

They also pay the politicians people vote for. Probably all of them.
Nobody has ever paid any attention to these companies.
Till now, and I’m glad, no matter what you think about it.

I still miss publicity around Vanguard in all of this. They are the top of the pyramid of investment companies and own all the stock from BlackRock.
After Vanguard it’s a dead end.
Plenty people want to know who are behind that company.

I’ve noticed something odd up on the East Coast, US for the past 6-8 months. Out of the blue, Black Rock started running these touchy/feely feel good, PR stunt commercials about how they INVEST in AMERICA. Total BS, but they did it for a reason.

As it’s Low Saturday, the day which is anyone’s guess as to what happens, I’m enjoying a sciency day. It’s always fun to see if I can come up with a simple explanation of that we are doing and why things are happening.

Although, Mrs. Squirrel has one rule - no explanations, or experiments, which mention quantum physics are allowed. So, all will be Newtonian, obviously with an exception for oobleck.

I also smiled recently when I hit the core Monkey Cage audience status for knowing who Zaphod Beeblebrox is and what makes oobleck special:

I call that the telltale of a crook. Hiding their crimes under a layer of charity. Like Bill Gates.

How can you call them crooks. The Security Exchange watches everything these companies do every 3 months. Nothing they do is illegal and anything even questionable is inspected with more scrutiny being who they are. Because they make large sum’s money doesn’t make them the enemy of people. It makes them smart. They may become enemies only to people who don’t have any. That is the definition of jealous.

That’s like saying governments control banks

That is just the philanthropy of guilt.

The FED has the authority to regulate banks by decree of Congress. Congress set new regulations as a kneejerk reaction to the failure of bank’s during the recession of the 70’s. The banks that failed recently failed because they were poorly run and didn’t want to hire anyone to comply with the regulations or didn’t want to take the loss or admit the loss on the bonds they owned and replace them. No bank should ever have one kind of client and only one special aspect to their business. Therefore poorly run.
