What i have found to be so much fun to watch here

It seems to me, that with no aforethought or intent of design, that this site has become the “Library of Congress” of the vaping community. The amount of knowledge that has been accumulated here concerning all things vaping is nothing short of amazing. It boggles the mind. What boggles the mind even more is that the people here share their knowledge with the spirit of giving, not taking. That of blessing and not personal gain.
This is easy to show with something as simple as a google search pertaining to anything having to do with vaping. Near the top of; if not at the very top of any google search are results showing an ELR URL.

People come here to learn, when they have learned, and have taken what the need to further their journey down the DIY road; they stay and willfully take the mantle of teacher and mentor, This becomes a perpetuating cycle.

It is this cycle more than anything else which has become fun for me to watch.
The platform this site is built on is a good solid base. It is the people that allow it to soar.

I am not as active in the forum as I once was. Forgive my absence of late. The living of my life, not lack of love for this place are the reason for it.

'nuff waxing… get back to vaping and mixing!

I agree 100%! If not for ELR I wouldn’t have come as far in DIY as I have![quote=“bradslinux, post:82, topic:43958”]

Again, I agree with you wholeheartedly on this! [quote=“bradslinux, post:82, topic:43958”]

I really don’t know how this has come to be, but this really is the case with ELR and I for one am glad to be a small part of it even though I am not around as much anymore! Btw, how have you been @bradslinux? I haven’t seen much activity from you, although, I am not as active as I would like to be either. Like you said, living life gets busy!

@daath I am so happy to have found this forum. We are such a family. I have made fast friends with tons of the members. Everyone is and has been so wonderful. I just wish there were a way we could all sit down together in one place and celebrate something anything. Everybody would be so busy running from table to table introducing themselves it would be the greatest madhouse ever. I love it here.

I’d like to add that they not only willfully but happily pass on what they have learned experienced. Everyone is so pleasant about sharing and truly caring for the novice mixer. Offering advice as well as encouragement to them. I think we have all been at that confounded confused stage of DIY and it is so nice to if nothing more just vent about it. Even the venting ends up with help and advice on how to fix it.

Thanks @bradslinux, well said. I’ve been thinking ELR is like a Magic site where all the magicians break the primary rule of magic and tell everyone how their illusion works. What if the whole world worked like this? I am most grateful for all of you, and most willing to similarly pay-it-forward …as soon as I have something

Having only been part of this forum for a relatively short space of time I have to agree!, I am normally only on ECF but I am now tired (and banned) from having my wrist slapped for no reason by the fun police there, this forum has already surpassed ECF for usefulness, friendliness and community spirit, I for one am very glad I have found it :relaxed:

I have to get in on the love here, too! I’m a super noob to this forum and to mixing at all, I think I’ve been at it for… 2-3 months maybe? And in that time I’ve learned more from people here than I probably would have learned in years on my own (if I would have even lasted that long). The extreme generosity and willingness to help that I see from you guys just absolutely blows my mind. When people say “ELR family” is true, it’s like a big family here!

I noticed it but I thought you were kidding. I actually love it…

In fact I love it so much the next time my brother in law starts bloviating about how cool he is I’m going to say… " Uh huh…a big ahem to that brother!"

I guess it sounds kind of snotty when I think about it though…

I have been well. My daughter has blessed us with another grandbaby. A girl this time. She will be here this weekend with her. Can’t wait to spoil her rotten.
I’m still using the Crius and it remains in my rotation.
Good to see you still at it. I hope you and the kids are well.

Sometimes you need a little snotty to clear the air. I say: “go for it!”

Very nice compliment to the site and community sir! I feel I’ve given a little, but the amount I’ve learned here cannot be put into words. It’s like a lifetime’s worth of experience has been cataloged and stored. You say Library of Congress - I say University of Vapeology.

I haven’t really read this thread before now… @SthrnMixer I mix BAN with Moon Butter all the time… that and Shroom’s OMG Sauce http://tjek.nu/r/14Xb (I changed up the OMG a bit due to the flavorings I had though).

Really? I mean to me it seems obvious to mix them. Do you do 50/50?
