It’s completely personal preference but I think the sweet spot is around 0.45 ohms. I make my coils to the 0.45 ohms or as close as I can get.
With higher resistance coils (hight ohms) you need less power (wattage) , less vapour, I think the majority of liquids taste better at higher ohms, battery’s last longer.
With lower ohms it’s the opposite.
Most people want better flavour and I’ve found that slightly higher ohms are normally best for that.
When you’re coil is fitted and ready to vape start low with the wattage and keep increasing slightly until you can get a good, long (around 2.5 seconds) puff without burning the cotton.,
There are lots of good articles on the internet about the subject.
@PaulyWalnuts as posted above, it will be your personal preference, AND, the limits of your power supply, aka MOD. Some MODS can only fire down to a certain ohm rating. As long as you are using a protected device, have fun, and try them all !!!
Unlike PODS, prebuilts, or “kits” you’re free to use whatever your MOD will fire safely. You’ll find your sweet spot. Just experiment. Don’t sweat the details on the ohms, just find what you LIKE and run with it.
try 3x28+38 (ni80), 5.5 Windings, 3.5 mm ID (should 0.4 Ohm single), best “allrounder”-Coil. Rest is, as said, your personal like. On a regulated mod “forget” ohms, 0.2 could be as tasty as 0.4 or 0.whatever.
At least: you want a coil with much surface and less mass, so its fast and tasty
I don’t run the coils they send in the package but for my dead rabbit pro I run usually point one two- point zero eight in mine. I run high wattage due to the airflow. I use ni80/ni90 quad core aliens usually in that rda. It’s personal preference but my dual coil RDA’s all have coils that range from point two zero-point zero eight. As long as your mod can handle it, which yours can, I believe your mod will fire down to point zero 5 (which I do not recommend that low). Point 9 seems a little high for a dual coil with that much airflow, that’s more for s pod type system. In my opinion, around a point one 5 would be a good starting point.
Juat an FYI bud. I change my coil like one a month tops. I change my cotton every other day and clean the coil. EASY dry burns, followed by an easy brushing with a steel brush. Very light btw.
I’ll slow burn the residue off the cold 2/3 times and I’m good to go.
